FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Jones Family Household Services prides itself on offering low costs with quality services. I started this business after getting bids for some basic plumbing issues. After receiving several quotes that I felt were too high, I decided I would tackle the project myself and I saved myself several hundred dollars for only a few hours of work. I quickly realized that too many services were overpriced for what the average consumer could or should be paying.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I believe in communication. In working with a new customer I think that the customer should be told of alternative options that may save them money and time. Working with a new customer from the start to finish with a strong honest line of communication is vital to the success of a project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Although I spent 30 years as a Law Enforcement Officer, I owned my on home and began learning to do many projects from remodeling to preventative and repair myself. This hobby later turned into a passion that I found helped me relieve stress while still helping people. I took a second job as an electrical associate at a national home improvement chain, where I learned a great deal about various projects. After retiring from Law Enforcement I took my current position as a second career for a National Property management company where I am employed as a Maintenance Technician. I use y knowledge everyday to make home repairs and improvements while learning new things everyday.
