We had oak stairs, hardwood flooring, and railings installed in our split foyer. We also had a bathroom linen closet refaced with oak and 4 wall cabinets replaced in our lower level.We are happy with the work that was done. Jason was great to work with.

The sliding patio door I open many times a day to let dogs in and out broke. All the sudden it didnt roll, it scraped and was extremely hard to open and close. Id asked at the Ace hardware store about their handyman services and they told me they arent really associated with the stores, they just license the name. My regular handyman said he got a real job and didnt do things like fixing sliding doors anymore, so I decided to give Ace a chance. They were recommended by Angies list.Francis showed up within 10 minutes of his scheduled time. He turned out to be a sliding door whisperer, and had the door off to find out what parts should be replaced and reinstalled in about 1/2 hour. His process was much more efficient than what I saw researching it on YouTube.The door was working much better when he put it back together to wait for parts, but hed pointed out parts that were failing and wouldnt last over the long run.The second appointment was equally productive.Im happy with the whole process, and would not be reluctant to use Ace for future work.Francis left a card asking for a 5 star review. I know that some companies factor reviews into employee compensation, and I dont want to have a negative impact on my handyman. Yet, I feel that there is a case to be made that showing up on time, knowing what you are doing, and making a good repair should be rated as meets expectations.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is based on time and materials, billed in 15-minute increments. This ensures transparency and flexibility, allowing customers to pay only for the time and resources actually used on their project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We lock in the time our Craftsmen will show up onsite. (Firm appointment time - No large windows of time like the cable company). If we say 8:30am, they will be there. You get a call from the Craftsmen the night before. You get a confirmation notification when we are headed to your home/business. You get a 1 year warranty on all work. We are licensed and bonded.
