FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge $65/hr for residential design and $90/hr for commercial design. We always estimate a project before beginning so my clients can set a fixed budget. I share my designer discounts with clients and once a client they are well taken care of usually going beyond my fees to make sure they are satisfied and have a beautifully functional design. Our construction estimates are given by project as well as design so you never have to question how much you are spending.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always complete a site visit to measure, ask questions, and get to know the client and space. It is a complimentary meeting and helps to make sure we are a good fit for each other and that we are able to help you with your project at the price that fits into your budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I personally have a 4 year degree from Iowa State University, one of the top design schools in the nation. During that time I took extra care to earn my LEED ID+C Accreditation which helps me to keep green design at the forefront of the design process. After working for three years professionally in the field of office and commercial design I took my NCIDQ and became a licensed professional Interior designer. I now work with my husband with our design build company to complete projects fully.
