I tried several personal trainers here in Boise and in my previous hometown, and Kalynn is far and away the BEST fitness coach and yoga instructor I have ever met! She is patient, personable and wise. She devotes all her energy and skill to MY needs and MY goals not her own. She regularly changes my workout routines and all of them have been totally inventive, challenging and fun! (No, really! Fun. I always leave her studio happy.) I recommend her to everyone who will listen.

Pamela is a great trainer. She knows how to motivate and encourage. Her ability to zone in on one's strengths and weaknesses is a large benefit of her training skills. Due to working with her, I walked 2.5 miles today and biked 6 miles. I also do body pump and yoga. And....I am old enough to be retired. She is a good choice when looking for a personal trainer.

Erica is a great instructor. She's been doing yoga so long she can teach in her sleep. I'm new to yoga and she has been extremely patient while still pushing us to reach higher levels. I feel 100% at comfortable in her classes and trust her leadership.

    I did the 20 day yoga challenge in Oct 2015. I was skeptical that I would be able to get out of bed to make it for 6 am yoga every day, but I found myself actually looking forward to it! Corrine makes yoga accessible to all levels.

      As a lifelong athlete, I began competing in running and skiing events at the age of eight. At age of 12, I began teaching kids how to ski and continued teaching and coaching for the next 12 years in a variety of areas like skiing, swimming, and aerobics, as well as movement therapy for autistic children. Teaching was my outlet and fueled me through high school and college. At Michigan State, I earned my BS in exercise science, while also maintaining a separate focus on psychology and nutrition. At every level, I stayed deeply involved as an athlete, coach, and trainer with adults and children of all ages. My teaching skills later contributed to my promotions during my career as a marketing and sales professional in the field of ultrasound. During my career, I developed education programs and conducted training seminars for both sales and medical professionals. I studied with many of the top professionals in the industry and was involved in both clinical research and product development. I loved taking difficult data and making it accessible to everyone in a simple, easy-to-understand format. For the past 10 years, I have been a student of yoga, with the last three years being the most influential for me. From the first class I took, I knew that I wanted the opportunity to share the practice of yoga with others. When my youngest child started preschool, I met Debbi Murphy with Shanti Yoga School, and I knew my chance had arrived. These past three years have been an exciting and sometimes difficult journey. I worked hard to experience as many different styles and teachings of yoga as I could during my 500 RYT (registered yoga therapist) program. I soon learned that yoga has so much to offer to every level of student. During the course of my studies, I started working with Matt Booth, PT, DPT and OCS of Therapeutic Associates. Through his work and guidance, I became infatuated with the recent research in fascia. The knowledge of the fascia has expanded exponentially in the past 20 years, with advances in technology that are allowing real-time study and observation of the whole body system of fascia. Ironically, ultrasound plays a key role in this. My studies with Robert Schleip, director of the Fascial Research Group and Divo Muller, movement teacher for Fascial Fitness Congress, propelled me further in my study of yoga and its symbiotic relationship with fascia. After completing my certification from the Fascial Fitness Society, I realized I had only scratched the surface of the delicate and intertwined relationship between the science of yoga and the fascial body. Tom Myers, author of Anatomy Trains, has heavily influenced my style of practice with his work on the anatomy trains and sports medicine, which is something that I am excited to study further and share with others. I have had the opportunity to study with some amazing yoga teachers, and I have tremendous gratitude for the knowledge and experience that they bring to the practice of fluid, powerful, and graceful movement. I hope my practice and teachings offer a reflection of the work of these teachers: Sadie Nardini, Tiffany Cruikshank, and Micheline Berry. For teen yoga, I completed my studies with Christy Brock. For Yin yoga, I continue my studies and practice with Bernie Clark. My intention is to teach a vinyasa flow with organic movement and the principle of fascial fitness. Currently, I am the only RYT 500 Yoga and certified fascial fitness trainer in the United States. I am teaching these classes to teens and adults in the Greater Boise area. In conjunction with this, I am living a joyful life with my husband, three children, and a small zoo of pets. Movement is the meditation, and how we decide to access movement through our lifetime for health and well-being is one of the reasons why I teach yoga. Our movements are a unique expression of ourselves and reflections of our life experiences. The practice of yoga asana, meditation and pranayama offers us the tools to live happier, healthier lives.
