I called upon Ron Alexander, proprietor of Treasure Valley Revival, LLC for a storm door replacement. First of all, I wish to say Ron is such a kind, yet magnanimously intelligent, and very skilled craftsman. What drew me to hire Ron was his expertise in design work. I called Ron and he was over to our home within the hour as he stated he would be. A very pleasant man to talk with while he diligently removed our old storm door, and then replaced with a storm door I supplied him with. He took no time at all, and I know I received a very fair bid, as well as a well-crafted replacement storm door. Ron certainly measured up to the challenge, and his work was of grand quality! I would recommend Ron, and absolutely I will hire Ron Alexander, again.

I have hired Elwood and Amanda of Creative Touch Construction twice. I purchased a 100 year old house that had a sagging roof. There were no supports in the attic. Elwood and his team raised the roof from inside, inch by inch, and built in supports. The reinforcement is now the strongest part of the roof. They were methodical and precise, which allowed the entire sagging area to be brought up without breaking my ceiling, damaging support walls, or the roof. Elwood and his team were always on time, completed the process on schedule (three days start to finish), and were very affordable. That project cost me just over $2500. When you see that your roof is caving in, you never think it can be saved for such a reasonable rate...but it was. I really feel they took the time they needed to make everything perfect, really perfect. The second time I hired them is to correct woodwork that a less experienced contractor had previously mishandled. Beautiful woodwork is the one of the greatest features of a 100 year old home. A previous contractor had destroyed my built-ins, my interior doors, my baseboards and chair railings and butlers pantry when they sanded against the grain, applied stain over unprepared wood, stained over hardware and paint. The previous contractor had damaged my woodwork by gouging it and digging deep cuts from an inexperienced worker using a belt sander. Elwood and his team took the time to sand all the wood doors, trim and built-ins, bringing back the beautiful grain. They replaced missing woodwork so that it matched the old pieces. They literally breathed life back into my historic home. What really impressed me was how his team would find something that needed attention, and they'd immediately address it and make it right. Elwood served as the general contractor of his team, holding everyone to the highest professional standards. They are truly craftsmen in a world where it seems most contractors do whatever they can to cut corners. Elwood and Amanda paid such attention to detail, such a passion into their work, that it was clear that the end product was something they'd want to have in their own home. I would recommend them whole-hearted. I found that some vendors on Thumbtack and HomeAdvisor have created false reviews, or didn't guarantee their work. I do not believe that to be so of Creative Touch Construction Services. If you choose to use a different contractor, I highly recommend you do the homework to make sure you're hiring a truly qualified professional. I am happy to back up my review with before and after photos upon request to my email at My house is located in the Steunenberg Historic District in Caldwell, Idaho.

Best locksmiths ever! My teenager broke his house key off in the door when he got home from school on Friday. I couldn't get the key out of the lock, so we were stuck outside! I reached out to Barton Family Locksmiths..... Chris came within 20 minutes and was able to remove the key and get us in very quickly. Very happy with the value as well!

Simon did a great job on installing my pet door. He came right when he said he would and worked very quickly to install the door for me. While he was here I mentioned that I had some siding damage and he gave me a quote on how much it would take to replace the damaged section. I liked how good of a job he did on the door that I hired him for the siding as well. He did a great job on the siding as well!

I have known Nick's work for many years. Some he has done for me, some for other people/projects. Nick is an excellent finish carpenter. His trim work is impeccable, same for custom cabinetry. There is no job too big or small. He has built everything from homes to handicap ramps to animal enclosures. He doesn't cut corners and won't use anything but materials that will last and function well. For me personally, Nick has hung cabinets and doors in my home, done interior and exterior painting, deck repair and built a large storage shed. He was always on time and delivered what he promised. I have been very pleased to see that Nick has branched out into some very creative pieces for pets. The craftsmanship on his "Cat Condo" is incredible. I hope the concept takes off. If you want a job done right the first time, Nick's your guy.
