I was doing high intensity interval training, which caused serious injuries to my knee and shoulder, so I wanted to get back into full body resistance training and cardio. After reading reviews, I chose Dan. It has been a wonderful ride ever since. He's very smart, thoughtful, and incredibly enthusiastic. He spends a great deal of time tracking your numbers so that there is genuine accountability as to the extent of your progress. After I saw the orthopedist about my shoulder and went to physical therapy, Dan took the recommended physical therapy exercises and integrated them directly into my workouts. Very creative; very cool. He's easy to communicate by text or email, and incredibly responsive. He's also very knowledgeable about the Chicago performing arts scene, which I enjoy discussing with him. Bottom line: I'm getting stronger; feeling more fit and confident; and not getting injured. Dan's been great.

Josh is great to work with for your fitness needs. My husband and I hired him for at home personal training. He uses customized exercises to help my husband and I reach our fitness goals. Additionally, he has a great positive energy that helps us get in the right mindset. Elijah is very cultured and knowledgeable about different nationalities. Many of his clients are from different backgrounds and he is very respectful to other people’s culture. He enjoys learning about the different cultures of his clients. He is very in tune with the Indian diet and helps us by learning how to eat more protein as a vegan. His big thing we learned is we ate a lot more bad carbs than good carbs. He created a system for us to build healthy eating habits and we never looked back. My husband and I have been with Elijah for almost a year now at his personal private studio and we see Elijah 3x a week. We are actually about to sign up for a yearlong package with him for 2017! We needed a serious wake up call in our lives to get healthier and he was the one I chose to do that. My husband e-mailed him late one night and he replied right away. He offered us a free consultation and we gave it a shot. The workouts are always challenging and fun at the same time. Each time we do something different, which keeps it new and exciting and I feel good after the workout. Elijah himself is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional and intelligent. Bob came to our studio to provide CPR training for our instructors. Hands down the best CPR training I've ever had. Bob is so passionate and knowledgeable about what he does. His approach is great. We did a practice enactment with the defibrillator which was a really valuable experience. He obviously cares very deeply about preparing his students to act quickly and smartly as first responders. He taught us very valuable skills that we hope we never have to use, but left us feeling confident if we do.
Tricia is wonderful! I've been working with her for 4 months now and I'm addicted! I've never been interested in fitness much, I've never even had a gym membership but working with Tricia has motivated & inspired me to lead a healthier lifestyle. She is extremely patient and truly cares about what works for me & how I'm feeling during & after every session. Every workout is different, she always has me try something new which keeps it fun & interesting, and the results are amazing!! I've lost 10lbs, I have muscles that I never knew existed, and I have definition in my abs which I never thought I'd see again after having a child. My fiance had been training with Tiffany for about 7 months before I decided to join. i had never done Olympic lifting or crossfit and was intimidated by the thought of it. Tiffany was very welcoming and attentive on my first day of training. She explained the different positions verbally first and then she demonstrated them All the while giving tips and pointers. I immediately felt comfortable and trusting of her abilities. If I didn't get something the first few times, she was quick to find another way to explain it. I've only been working out for a month with her and am already seeing results. The atmosphere is fun and light hearted...however, she does have expectations for you to work hard and give it all you have. She has a great passion that shines through in her work. She genuinely cares about her clients and wants us all to succeed on our wellness journey.
I contacted Jill about hiring an in home personal trainer for my 75 year old mother after she had achilles surgery and was done with physical therapy but still unable to function comfortably in everyday life. My mom has been training with Nicki for a few months (she told me in the beginning she was just going to do "a few sessions") and has improved wonderfully. My mother likes to say she "gave up a cruise" to train with Nicki, but she insists it is totally worth it! My mother is not an easy one to please, and was a hard sell for training in the first place.
