We hired Vanguard Building Services to install Hardy Board siding, gutters, soffits, and Versetta stone and paint an exterior brick wall. The crew removed my existing cedar siding. That is a very messy job. Wood and nails are everywhere. After a long day of work, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., no scrap of wood or nails was left behind. The cleanup was unbelievable. The crew respected my home, and I can honestly say their work was meticulous. They took pride in their work. The price was fair, and the work was perfectly executed. I also need to mention the owner, Glen, and the GM, Matt, who was available on-site throughout the project. Glen was straightforward and answered all our questions on our first meeting. In total they completely remodeled our kitchen, two bathrooms, sanded and restrained the hardwood floors, installed new closet doors, painted throughout, and brought our electrical and plumbing up to current code. This project took about 8 months, during which time Ed was in constant communication with us and our HOA, coordinating to make sure everything stayed on track. He was always accessible whenever we had concerns and made sure to address them to our satisfaction. Everyone on his team was very nice and courteous, especially given that we were living in the construction area for part of the time. Ed’s initial quote was accurate and the only overages were items we specifically upgraded ourselves or asked to modify.
