Latest Review: I would highly recommend Chris for piano lessons. He does a great job tailoring each lesson to the student and keeps it fun at the same time. His practice of teaching the student to play by ear has furthered my development as a piano player and kept me engaged.

Latest Review: Sue Alexander from the MusIQ club will be giving piano lessons to two grandchildren and me. She responded very quickly and very nicely agreed to come by so we could meet and she could be introduced to the children. My daughter and her children and I were all delighted with Sue and are looking forward to the lessons.

Latest Review: As a karaoke addict and musical theatre lover, I finally decided I was going to take the plunge into taking singing lessons. I looked around at several options in the St. Louis area, but Shock City was the only place that looked like they knew what they were doing, at a reasonable price. I've been taking lessons for a few weeks now and I'M SO GLAD THAT I CHOSE THEM. From the get-go, Genny was incredibly responsive and thorough in explaining all of my options. I'm a recent college grad that works at a nonprofit, I don't have a ton of money to spend. Genny helped craft a pricing option for me that worked with my budget, and worked with me to find an instructor that was tailored to my specific goals. She led me to find an instructor, Liya, who has been AWESOME. Already on our first meeting, she made me feel comfortable and has brought a fun and playful attitude to our lessons in addition to her vast expertise. They record all of your lessons for you, so that you can review them and practice on your own time, and you can even message your instructor and ask questions through their TeacherZone program. I've already made significant improvements and I'm having a ton of fun! Thanks Shock City for giving me a platform to pursue my dreams!

Latest Review: My daughter has been taking piano lessons from Ms. Calahan for almost 2 years now and the experience has been wonderful. Ms. Calahan makes it fun for the kids but still also pushes them to advance to the next level. Ms. Calahan also does great with adults. I recently started taking piano lessons as well. Both my daughter and I have enjoyed learning the piano and recently we played christmas music for all our family. It made for a perfect Christmas Eve night with everyone signing along. In addition, the recitals are perfect by being more low key but still giving students an opportunity to gain confidence with their music in front of an audience.

Latest Review: I hired Ms Speckart to teach piano lessons for my 6 year old; My 6 year old has adapted to her style of teaching right away. n the short period of time that my little girl had been going to her class , my observation of Ms. Speckart is that she is patient, teaches in a fun way for kids to learn , and she is obviously very well educated and experienced in her craft.

Latest Review: I worked with A Major for piano lessons for my mom. The lady who I scheduled with, Carol, was really helpful and worked with my slightly strange requests (it was a surprise gift, so we didn't know *when* the lessons were going to be until after we gave her the gift). Working with her was a real pleasure! While our instructor was much more skilled in guitar than piano, he was definitely able to provide the quality instruction to get a beginner going on the right track. He provided us with a beginner booklet and valuable intro level guidance. And this all for a really great price compared to other options I looked at. Even group classes cost more than this weekly in house visit!

Latest Review: We highly recommend Michael, who teaches our teenage son piano in our home weekly. Michael is responsive to what interests his student, gentle but clear in terms of expectations, very encouraging and flexible about meeting times. He was recommended to us by a professional pianist who took guitar lessons from him and thought he was great.
