I had an event in Gurnee, Il and I hired Special Occasion to help me plan and organize it. I was absolutely very happy with them. Everyone was absolutely a delight to work with. Holly was our day of coordinator and was so helpful and hands on in making our special day the best day ever. I never had to worry about my vision coming to life, there were a few changes she made and I'm so grateful she did because they turned out so much better than they werebefore. Our event staff Julio and Brenda were just as professional and hands on and we cannot express enough about how great our event went with the help of them and Holly. My October 17th wedding floral arrangements were absolutely breathtakingly gorgeous! From the moment I met Angie and her associate during our initial appointment, I knew I wanted her to be my designer and didn't look anywhere else! She was pleasant, fun, easy to work with and able to create a dream vision with only a few photos and thoughts of my own. She is really kind. sweet and made the process completely stress-free, along with such an outgoing personality and great sense of humor! She sent a proposal within just a couple of days and the pricing was incredibly fair! It helped that I provided a specific budget and was able to get everything from my wish list without exceeding that budget. I really felt like she was honest and focused more on customer service and making me happy rather than trying to sell me on floral details that would increase the cost. Within one week of my event, she was happy to make last minute adjustments. On the day of the wedding, her team delivered everything to the Arboretum. Her staff was friendly, professional and helpful! The floral arrangements at the ceremony and reception sites were so stunning that they were exceeded anything I had imagined---I could not have have been more impressed or pleased! So, So. So glad I did business with Blossom & Branch Designs! If I ever need floral arrangements for future events, I will be sure to call Angie and recommend her to absolutely everyone and anyone!!! Church had to set up with decorations for a wedding which was done and Marvalous job she did... Then she had to decorate the hall which they only Gave her an hour... And with that hour she worked her magic and did a BEE TEE FUL and AMAZING JOB..LOVE YOU AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME, suggestions and conerns... Because my wedding was outside, in the rainy June season in good ol Chicago, I went back and forth with tent sizes, tent quantity, and side walls. As much of a pain as I was, Stacie made sure every request was fulfilled and every question I had was answered. She made me feel confident that my wedding would turn out perfect, rain or shine, and that she would do everything to make sure I had the proper tenting. It didn't rain, however, I am still so thankful for how easy and wonderful they were to work with! Thank you for being a part of making my wedding better than I dreamed;)
Meg was PHENOMENAL! I could tell from the very first day I dpoke with Her about how I invisioned my wedding day to look, that she was the officiant for us!! She not only brought love, energy and enthusiasm, she was so genuinely happy to be there! I was completely thrilled with my big day and would highly recommend Meg!
Sarah was truly a lifesaver throughout this entire wedding process! During our planning sessions she made sure I had all of the very tiny details covered and offered solutions to all of my problems and unanswered questions. She was always the one to reach out to me and always responded immediately! The week of my wedding she went to hobby lobby and figured out how to drape my aisle the way I liked and just took care of it for me! Talk about a major stress reliever! On my wedding day Sarah showed up bright eyed and ready to go! Whenever I turned to look for her, there she was to help me with whatever I needed! (She even cut a sub sandwich in tiny pieces for me so I wouldn't mess up my lips!) At the reception I didn't have to answer any of the Dj or other vendors' questions because Sarah handled it all for me! Sarah showed up to the reception and looked after every last detail! She even figured out how to get my bridal parties overnight bags all to the hotel for me! Sarah being present on our wedding day allowed my husband and I to enjoy our day to the fullest! Sarah is very professional and took all of my concerns about the day quite seriously and made sure it all went perfectly! I could not imagine planning a wedding without her, definitely an investment in your special day! We are surely recommending her to all of our engaged friends!
We cannot say enough great things about Heidi and highly recommend her wedding services to any other couples! Heidi served as our wedding coordinator in September 2017 and she was worth her weight in gold so that we could have a relaxing and elegant wedding. Thanks to Heidi we were able to truly enjoy our time with all of our guests many of whom had traveled from Europe and across the US to be with us. On the day of the wedding Heidi did an incredible and efficient job running our early morning rehearsal which immediately put everyone participating in the ceremony at ease. She and her two assistants were then present at our venue throughout the day coordinating the vendors as they arrived, setting up decor, and bringing us our bouquets for photos. She even sent me a few photos of the cake and decor as sneak peeks as we were out and about all day with our wedding party. Once we arrived at the venue everything looked absolutely perfect and she even had water set up for the wedding party as we got ready to walk down the aisle (she also had water, snacks, pain killers and whatever else anyone needed!). During the evening wedding Heidi kept everything to schedule and moved the guests seamlessly throughout the venue from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. She worked closely with the photographer, caterer, and musicians to make sure everything went to plan. If anything went wrong during the day or evening we did not know about it! At the end of the wedding she and her two assistants packed up all our boxes of decor/cake/leftover alcohol and took it to our hotel so our family and friends were able to go back to their hotels or to the after party with no worries. In addition to the actual wedding day, Heidi was wonderful from day one. After we decided to work together we met with Heidi early in the summer and showed her around our venue. A couple of weeks before the wedding she also came to our final walkthrough with our caterer. We also had multiple check-in calls the week leading up to the wedding to go through final details. During the week before the wedding she was in touch with all of our vendors to introduce herself and to work out any details which took all vendor management out of our hands. In short, we had a very detailed schedule and notes of how we wanted our wedding to run and look and Heidi executed it with precision and even helped us think of details we might not have thought of ourselves. We had 60 guests and wanted a personal, professional, and elegant Chicago wedding. So many guests commented on how smoothly everything went during the day and how much they enjoyed the pace and look of the evening. We were a very happy bride and groom!
Tina did an amazing job at setting up decorations for our wedding, she made me feel relaxed and reassured that everything would be taken care of, which it was! She definitely helped make our special day perfect!
I originally thought I was going to DIY my wedding but when Charlene answered my request I knew that was going to be the best decision I ever made to hire her. IT WAS! I am so glad I did not DIY my wedding. I would give Elegant Wedding Design 100 stars! She made my special wedding day more perfect than I could have ever imagined. People in my family were second guessing the event space I had chosen because it was small and they couldn't see the vision that I had. Charlene truly transformed the space into a beautiful, elegant and luxurious wedding venue. Every single one of my guests were blown away and in awe as soon as they stepped into the ceremony and saw Charlene's magical beauty she created. She was so engaging, kind and truly made sure every detail of my vision was accomplished. She gave great ideas and expertise. I trusted every decision she made. I love that she owned all of her own materials and had the perfect matching color for our wedding scheme. She did a site walk thru and planned everything with a layout. Her text and email correspondence was great! I could write two pages about how amazing she is and how you really need to make sure she is handling your wedding decor and design. As soon as my first phone call with her I could tell in my spirit she would make all of my dreams come true. and she did! I had the complete piece of mind from the moment I hired her. I was even worried because I WASNT worried about anything. She is like the fairy godmother that transformed Cinderella! I give her my highest review possible! Elegant Wedding Design is the best!
Though it was a 'few' years back; we had a victorian wedding on a tight budget& everyone loved how amazing it looked! we were absolutely pleased!! Always beautiful work.
Izza and her team were the absolute fantastic to work with! My husband and I hired iMktg Services for full planning services, which entailed everything from monthly in-person check-ins, decorations, guest list, invitations and pretty much everything that you need at your big day. Izza was absolutely incredible at keeping us organized and helping us stick to our schedule. She immediately got to know us as a couple and was able to provide spot on recommendations and advice for all of the thousands of decisions that go into planning a modern christening. If you need a wedding planner, don't even bother looking further! She is one best event planner that will go beyond your expectations. (wink..wink she actually gives a lot of freebies on our event, items and services) What else could you ask for? oh wait, before I forgot, she is young, smart and has a good professional background. Too many to name it all.
We absolutely loved these girls! They are so helpful and amazing at what they do. I gave them my list of task items to get done for the day of my wedding and they handled it with ease! I didn't have to stress or worry about a thing, they took care of everything! I had so many complements from other guests about how helpful and professional they were. We got married on New Years Eve 2016. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful our wedding was. Anna Lisa is amazing. From flowers, center pieces, table decor and much more she was a pleasure to work with. Through out the process Anna Lisa made sure we were stress free as well as checking in to make sure we were happy with how things would turn out. I can sometimes be a little indecisive, so when it came to picking things out Anna Lisa was right there to make us feel like we were making the right decisions. I shared my ideas with Anna Lisa and she is so creative she was able to create something even better. She was very accommodating and and professional. She made us feel confident that our wedding day would turn out beautiful. I recommend Anna Lisa to everyone I know!
I hired Leticia for my Chicago wedding in April. She was amazing! She was very affordable and made our bouquets and boutteniers beautifully! She even stopped by the wedding some weeks earlier to pick up the vases I wanted to use for the table centerpiece flowers. She really did a great job and I would hire her again! The only drawback was that she was late to set the flowers up for the rehearsal immediately following the ceremony so she came in during the ceremony. Oh well, Chicago traffic can be horrible sometimes.
I had a great time working with Dana for my July 2017 wedding at Salvage One and would highly recommend her as a day-of coordinator. Since she worked at Salvage One, she knew the venue well and knew what would work and what wouldn't. She helped me fine tune the details for the day-of activities and helped set up all my DIY decor. She made sure everything ran smoothly the day of so that my family or I wouldn't have to worry about a thing. I was able to relax and enjoy my wedding. Thanks, Dana!
I got married last summer and Nena helped me with everything! I had an extremely small budget (5k) but I wanted a wedding to remember! She told me about park preserves and we went out to view on in the city. It was gorgeous! The price was amazing. She also helped me find affordable catering, decorations, my dress, cheap suit rentals and a delicious cake (from Mariano's! Who knew??!). Anyway this chick is amazing. She helped me with everything up to the day and even came for day of coordination. It was the happiest day of my life and it would have not been possible without Marshae Blu!
Kathleen at Potted Petals was a fantastic florist for my wedding! I was planning the details remotely, and she was great about being flexible for phone calls, and sending me pictures of her ideas and progress once we decided on arrangements. She also accommodated my request for faux flowers, as my bridesmaids had allergies. Her prices were reasonable, and the floral arrangements turned out great!
LaBelleVie catered our wedding reception in June. I could not have picked a better place. The food was delicious (we had an upscale style taco bar.) The bar they set up was fantastic! They brought a beer garden indoors, with an amazing assortment of cocktails.(we married in an old farm building so it really helped classy up the place)Chris Sutton and her staff worked with me on every thought or concern I may have had. They all really went above and beyond to make sure I had the most perfect wedding reception. I even used their beautifully decorated bar in Aledo IL. to take some of my wedding photos in.
