I requested furniture assembly for seven items (6 IKEA pieces - a bed, dresser, two nightstands, a loveseat and footstool - and one piece from another manufacturer). Reese provided a detailed quote with information on how long he thought it would take, what he needed from me for everything to go smoothly, and offers to download and review the assembly instructions prior to the job. His price was cheaper than IKEA's assembly service would have been.
He showed up on time with an assistant, Christian, the assembly took almost exactly long as he thought it would, the quality of the work was great, and both men were extremely professional. I would absolutely hire him again or recommend him to anyone looking for a similar service.

Reese and his associate were outstanding. I had a houseful of Ikea furniture that I needed assembled. Reese looked at the list of items I needed assembled and asked questions that I would never have known to ask. There were a few additional pieces that weren't clear that needed to be ordered, but Reese - based on his experience - knew the additional items would be necessary.
He and his colleague arrived early the day of assembly. They were very professional and had all tools ready to go. They set up and works very thoroughly. All of my furniture looks great.
The wage he charges is extremely fair (probably on the low side). I would use him again in a heartbeat; excellent work.

I needed to find a handy man to assemble some furniture for my daughters apartment in Chicago where she attends college. I live in Los Angeles. I ordered furniture from IKEA and since I placed the order online the delivery service would deliver to her apartment but not assemble pieces. So my search began and I found thumbtack through my search online and put in the description what i needed done. Within a day I get a reply from Auburn with a price and he could assemble furniture. His prices are affordable and he was very professional and courteous and friendly. I had to coordinate with him and my daughters room mate since my daughter is not in Chicago yet. Her roommate said he was very efficient, friendly, quietly worked and cleaned up and was on time.He was there for about a couple of hours. I am so happy to have found him and he is excellent for any future projects that my daughter may need for her apartment when she gets back to Chicago! Thank you Auburn for your service.
