Where do I even begin? She’s amazing. She’s no where near average. She will make your dreams into reality. I will start there! I was looking for a painter to create an theme for my Daughters room. We were trying to get her mind off of a full spinal fusion surgery that she needed to undergo. I was highly emotional and looking for a help in the form of a painter. It was an unfair thing to even ask. Well what I got was the answer to my prayers, she went by Anita, but I refer to her as God sent. I knew we wanted a wave theme and to use the Behr color”big chill”. From first contact Anita understood this wasn’t a normal job and that emotions were at play. That this was going to mean a lot to a certain little girl. The way she understood where I was at, I knew she was the one to do it, and not the other 9 I had contacted. Art comes from love and Anita painted love in the form of waves and surf and a tranquil beach for my baby girl. The first day Anita and I played with the waves. We liked big crashing waves but we took the first day to paint the sky. Till it came to us. It was to be a gentle wave rolling into a beach and a safe place for my daughter to rest. I kid you not, it painted a picture of my daughters entire surgery right through to her recovery and the paradise that existed on the other side. All too often, people work to make money. They don’t do what they love everyday and change lives of people around them. That’s a shame. But this is what we are here for. Anita gets this more than anyone. Give her a call and tell her your dreams. She’s living hers. She will blow you away with how she “blends” the two together!! I try. But no words can describe what she was able to do for our daughter and our home. I’m not super tech savvy but photos here would show you exactly what I mean. I hope I can load them!

Anita is very friendly and prompt on all contact. She is extremely talented and did a great job communicating on what the mural should look like. We wanted a woodland themed baby room, which involved birch trees and forest animals. We agreed on the general tree placement, and adding an owl and a deer, and left the details open to further additions and modifications. (to which Anita said she is more than willing to add and accommodate at no extra charge). The day of the project I asked if a branch above the door could be added and potentially few birds in flight and Anita said it’s not a problem, and she will get it done. She worked late that day and wanted to finish the project the same day, as she had a tooth emergency. The job was done beautifully although the additional branch I asked for, as well as the birds in flight were not done as discussed. When I text Anita if she could come back, and add few accents, as we talked about the day of the project, Anita mentioned that there would be an additional $250 fee for her to come out again, as she already packed up her supplies the first day. This left us a bit bittersweet, as the initial work was done beautifully, and Anita was super sweet. But after the agreed payment of $1200 was paid the first day, there was no care to fully finish the work. Unfortunately I’m taking away a star (from 5 to 4), as we LOVED the work, but we’re a tad disappointed with the final touches not being made as discussed.

I am very sorry for any misunderstanding, however, at the close of the job I asked if there were any additional accents you wanted and after you turned for your husbands opinion it was decided that the job was complete and payment was made. I would have been more than happy to add anything at that time. There was no mention of me returning another day for additional work. When you text a couple days later and asked for additional animals I was happy to reschedule and it’s understandable that there would be a charge for me to do that. Again, I’m sorry for the misunderstanding and it would have made more sense to just talk to me than write it in a review.

Anita was great to work with! Offered to make me a sample before starting the work. The posts turned out beautiful. And she loves dogs...which was a plus with me and she didn't charge me extra when my dog ate her shoe :)

Anita painted my babies room , she used the bedding as her inspiration and it turned out beautiful . The entire room only took her 1 day . I gave Anita some ideas and it turned out far better than I could have imagined. Anita is professional and so easy to work with .

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I really don't have a standard pricing system as all projects are different, however. an easy guide would be a square ft price depending on subject matter. Price includes initial sample, all paint and supplies.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to see the space to get a feel for the customers style and color scheme. Talk with the customer to fully understand the look that is desired and create samples so there is no doubt that the final work will exceed their expectations.
