FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $100/hour for 1:1 personal training. Most of my clients buy packages for a discounted hourly rate. Additional fees may apply for parking or a gym rental fee. I have a small gym in my home and will do in-home sessions. For clients without a gym I rent space from Hi-Fi Personal Fitness in River North. The rental fee is $20. For mental performance/wellness coaching my rate is $85/hour or a discounted rate with a package.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For every client I do a complimentary phone consultation to get to know the client. For training clients it is important for me to hear about your fitness history, goals, and any injuries. I have contracts for both personal training and mental performance clients. First sessions with training clients are always a full hour going through fitness assessments and doing basic circuit training so I can evaluate the client's fitness level. From there, I come up with a fitness program for the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a personal trainer for 9 years. I have my certified personal training certification through NASM and hold additional certifications in Women's Fitness (pre/post natal) and Sports Performance Enhancement through NASM. In 2021 I graduated with my Masters in Sports & Performance Psychology. I am currently working on my Certified Mental Performance Consultant Certification (CMPC), with a certified mentor from the Applied Association of Sports Psychology.
