I requested a quote from Cody on thumbtack along with two others, for an emergency roofing issue during a flash flood warning . He took 4 hours to contact me , luckily I had already found another company to tarp my roof before the water came in. Cody calls me on the phone yelling about how I had thumbtack charge him $150 because didn’t answer then starts cursing me out. Calling me an a**hole. I’m not sure what Happens on the professional side of thumbtack , but I know I never set up an appt, confirmed an address or agreed to choose Cody as my roofer because I never talked to him, but to receive a phone call like this as my initial contact Is unacceptable and unprofessional and you will never be able to maintain a business if you keep talking to potential customers like you did me. Keep up the good work!
