We found Joe Stephen with Standing Ovation DJ's through Thumbtack and found an absolute gem! Working with Joe was a dream from the beginning of our planning. He was wonderful and easy to work with, provided ideas and suggestions and was ready to help us put on an amazing wedding celebration. Joe provides online opportunity to select songs to play, and do not play songs and works with you to narrow down to your likes and dislikes which turned out perfect. Joe provided three separate systems for each portion of of the wedding festivities. He set up a system in the Hyatt Regency Pavillion for the ceremony for music and microphones. Then he set up music in the Cyan Room for cocktail hour, and finally he had an amazing setup in the Ballroom for the reception. His equipment was state-of-the-art and appropriately "blacked-out" not to draw attention to himself. Joe set-up ballroom up-lights that turned out beautiful and an awesome GOBO exactly as the bride and groom had designed to shine on the wall. When we walked into the room we were in awe with what he had done. It complemented the Hyatt's design and set-up for the reception. Joe has a voice that is perfect for the job. He takes charge of the night but doesn't take over, which was what we wanted. He provided a course of direction for everyone, following our planned order of events for the evening. I had put together a memory-lane video montage about the bride and groom and Joe provided an 8' screen with projector so all 180 people could view it, which also turned out great! We would recommend Joe for any event. He was a true professional and did an amazing job!
Courteous, polite, professional, and just very solid service all around! I was incredibly impressed with Lemont as well as the second bar tender's (whose name escapes me...I'm sorry. It was my wedding and I was insane with everything going on) professionalism. Lynette was incredibly patient and responsive to my frantic and badgering emails. She was easy to talk to and answered anything and everything I asked! We had approximately 280 wedding guests that night, and despite the fact that the wedding was on the 2nd snowiest November day in the history of Chicago, one of the aspects that I was not worried about was the bar and the drinks. The bar tenders kept the guests entertained and more importantly, kept the drinks flowing, and my wife and I could not be happier that we went with C & C. I would highly recommend them to my own friends!
I hired Donna and her son for a wedding of 115 people. Absolutely fantastic!! Set up very quickly and helped break down at the end of the night. Most importantly, especially at a wedding, there were no problems with people getting over served. Great job, would definatley hire again.

If you are considering someone to MC a wedding or event, look no further. I have been involved with large city events and personal corporate events, and I have never experienced anyone of the caliber of Rick. His personality, energy, professionalism and attention to detail is exceptional. I had numerous guests come to me and tell me that Rick was awesome. Lindsey is just amazing. We hired Lindsey as "Event Planner" for our baby girl's first birthday party. Lindsey came to our home several weeks before the birthday party to better understand the layout and our wishes, and contributed helpful suggestions. Right from the beginning she was so cooperative. She knows her stuff, listens well, makes the planning fun and easy and the execution-not your problem. She thought of every detail and took care of everything. Without her many things on that day would have been a disaster and I would have had to deal with them. Instead I enjoyed myself and had an amazing birthday party. Highly recommended.
Charlene delivered the most amazing, memorable 1st birthday Royal Princess Theme for our daughter!! We were impressed with the decorations & details. Our guest were truly amazed we had an amazing turn out!! I appreciated Charlene keeping me informed throughout the entire experience, being that it was my first time utalizing an event planner.
We hired Heidi as a day of wedding coordinator and it felt like we hired a full-time coordinator. From the beginning she was always willing to give advice and direction. When my wife and I were unsure of the best approach we called on Heidi to help us decide. When it came down to the weeks before our wedding she was in constant contact always willing to take on a project when we realized we were stretched to thin. On the day of the wedding she was onsite at 8am working with her crew to get things ready for our 6pm wedding. She did an amazing job coordinating with all of the other vendors. Throughout our event she executed our schedule with grace and when the unforeseen arose she had a solution immediately. We are so grateful to Heidi for making our wedding a magical event. You wont find a better coordinator.
Tina did an amazing job at setting up decorations for our wedding, she made me feel relaxed and reassured that everything would be taken care of, which it was! She definitely helped make our special day perfect!
Jessica did a great job with our day of wedding preparation. She was able to take what we envisioned for our center pieces, sweet table and guest book table; and bring them to life. She was a huge help because it took a lot of stress off our families since we didn't have to worry about getting our hall set up the day of the wedding.
Janice & Jennifer were perfect. These ladies are a must book! They went above and beyond to make my wedding dreams come true! Their props were great with a lot of variety and they made all of my guests feel welcomed. The bubble booth looked so cool inside the venue! The dance on a cloud effect made our entrance perfectly dramatic. Thank you both so much!

Jenna orchestrated my wedding shower (Breakfast at Tiffany theme) and pulled it off to perfection! She handled the go between with the venue (115 Bourbon Street), planned games that women of all ages would enjoy participating in, and kept the event flowing in an effortless way. She was available 24/7 via text, call, and email with any questions, suggestions, and concerns that we had. I am also using Jenna/Chasing Perfection as my day of coordinator for my wedding in a few weeks and knowing that she is handling everything is definitely helping me stay as relaxed as possible! I will be posting another review after the wedding to review that event as well.
My daughter got married in 2015 and Annalisa was our go to gal..she helped us out with everything and listened to my daughter's ideas and made them happen. Phantom of the opera was her theme! Bella events helped answer questions and got the wedding venue to do what was expected and her day was special. She made the bride's/bridal party bouquets. Centerpieces and many extras added. Would highly recommend her again.
I had a great time working with Dana for my July 2017 wedding at Salvage One and would highly recommend her as a day-of coordinator. Since she worked at Salvage One, she knew the venue well and knew what would work and what wouldn't. She helped me fine tune the details for the day-of activities and helped set up all my DIY decor. I'm a long time client of Izza. From my engagement party, wedding, baby shower and now a christening. Izza and her team has been great, helpful and understanding. I remember on my baby shower, I have mommy tantrums and a lil overwhelmed but Izza rest assured that everything will go well and she made sure I will just relax and enjoy my day. I'm glad it did! My short notice hiring her, when I say its a short notice, it's 4 days before the shower when my bestfriend got sick and could set up and decorate the venue. Izza here is the savior. My husband and I did not realize how stressful planning our wedding would be. I know I literally felt like I was going to pull out my hair (and my fiancé's!!). Fortunately, a close friend suggested I hire a wedding coordinator to assist with the big day. Vibrant Moments saved our sanity! Shay and Janean were proactive, professional, organized, thoughtful, flexible and problem solvers. They reminded us about tasks we never even thought of. They also were informal marriage counselors during those planning conference calls when my fiancé and I had to make decisions LOL! But seriously, they helped us talk through some tough decisions related to the wedding ceremony and reception. Leading up to the wedding, they checked in with the bridal party and all the vendors to ensure our big day was perfect. And when the wedding day finally came, they were on the scene taking care of every detail, big and small. I mean, they showed up with this supply basket that had so much stuff in it it had to be like a magician's hat. One of my bridesmaid's needed a phone charger - they had that. One of my othe bridesmaid's broke her earring - they broke out the glue gun. They had tissues, mints...you name it. And most important, they were fun, had positive attitudes and truly made us feel like the success of our wedding was as important to them as it was to us. We can't thank them enough for all they did to help make our big day special.
Overall, great experience having April help me out for one of the most important events of my life.
