Donna. Was. INCREDIBLE. I hired her for our wedding of over 120 people. She was not only a bartender, but literally a hostess. Many people (even my notoriously critical grandmother) commented on how she was everywhere doing everything - making a mean drink, clearing plates, making coffee, everything - and being so kind and pleasant and joyous in the process. Plus she came by to make me (the bride) a plate of food for dinner! She helped me make the list of what I would need, and worked with the drinks and mixers I provided to make even better drinks than I imagined. I requested an additional server to support her which she easily provided, and he was amazing as well. She was worth double the price and I can't recommend her enough.

Everything was perfect. Jennifer made this wedding really come together in a way that would not have been possible without her. She was very easy to talk to and work with. She is very knowledgeable about the way a ceremony should go and that took a lot of stress off of us. She never hesitated to help us and she went out of her way to help. Really above and beyond. Wedding Planner Full Service I couldn't have better things to say about working with Rick and Special Occasion Events . We booked a full wedding planning package and MC. And Throughout the planning process, Valerie and Rick were attentive, organized and resourceful. Valerie helped to alleviate any additional stress leading up to the wedding by providing helpful tips and resources that kept me and my husband on track for our big day. She made the wedding planning process so much better. She went out of her way to accommodate us in many occasion . She make sure we were happy with every decision we made about our vendors and work professionally with every vendor. And on our rehearsal day and made sure all of our attendants (and little ones!) knew exactly what they were doing, and made it fun and enjoyable throughout. Blossom & Branch Designs (Angie) was by far my favorite vendor to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process! My flowers were beautiful, thriving & totally affordable! I searched far & wide to find a floral & event designer that could meet my needs & budget & Angie &B her team totally delivered! I got one huge lovely bouquet for myself, awesome corsages & boutonnieres for the wedding party. sixteen guest table arrangements (mixed styles) & two last minute flower crowns for my flower girls that made me a tiny bit jealous! I also got some single stem flowers to place in my hair that were gorgeous! Have you ever talked with someone you've never met & they just understood you? That is what is was like to talk to Angie. She just "got" me, like we have been friends for years. She picked out my favorite bouquet & corsage from my Pinterest board & made wonderful suggestions to add color & dimension to all the flowers. She was able to incorporate ribbon I provided in the colors of our wedding too & made everything so creatively & elegantly done! Everything was fresh & beautiful & lasted all day in the unusual hot September heat. Angie explained every item in my quote & why things cost the way the do which was incredibly helpful & reassured me that I was making the right decision. Contract & payments were straightforward & pickup was a breeze. I also used her and her team as my Day-Of-Coordinator to make sure everything goes smoothly with all vendors because I trusted her and her staff so much. Everything was perfect! I love Angie from Blossom and Branch!! She is absolutely the best value for quality, professional work. The event planners I talked to were pushing me towards much larger and a lot more expensive florists- I am so grateful I did some research and found this great little business! My wedding was definitely not over the top (15 table settings, 8 bouquets and boutonnieres and church arrangements) and I could not believe what these bigger florists wanted. Angie was able to quote me less than half of what these other florists were going to charge me. I was worried (like all brides!) that everything was going to be perfect and all I can say is Angie rocked these flowers! All my bouquets were absolutely beautiful and the creativity she put into my table settings made those arrangements stunning. l am going to miss her upbeat attitude as she and I had a blast together planning the exact flowers and colors I wanted and she made it all happen just like how I pictured it. I found Bethany on Thumbtack about a year and a half before our wedding. We had already met with numerous other wedding planners, with one even being a close friend of ours. However, based on Bethany’s style, personality, business acumen, ethics, and pricing, we were immediately in awe and decided to hire her. Throughout the planning process, Bethany was responsive when we needed her and especially towards the weeks and days leading up to the wedding. She made sure to execute our vision for our wedding day, which was done on a tight budget (something my husband brought up nonstop, haha). Our wedding exceeded all of our expectations, thanks largely to Bethany. We were not planning to use a wedding planner and then panicked about 6 weeks before the big date, and hired Bethany for our day of coordinator. Thank goodness we did. She ended up helping us with many things, including running the rehearsal when the minister didn't show! She is very capable on all levels and has fantastic taste. We cannot say enough great things about Heidi and highly recommend her wedding services to any other couples! Heidi served as our wedding coordinator in September 2017 and she was worth her weight in gold so that we could have a relaxing and elegant wedding. Thanks to Heidi we were able to truly enjoy our time with all of our guests many of whom had traveled from Europe and across the US to be with us. On the day of the wedding Heidi did an incredible and efficient job running our early morning rehearsal which immediately put everyone participating in the ceremony at ease. She and her two assistants were then present at our venue throughout the day coordinating the vendors as they arrived, setting up decor, and bringing us our bouquets for photos. She even sent me a few photos of the cake and decor as sneak peeks as we were out and about all day with our wedding party. Once we arrived at the venue everything looked absolutely perfect and she even had water set up for the wedding party as we got ready to walk down the aisle (she also had water, snacks, pain killers and whatever else anyone needed!). During the evening wedding Heidi kept everything to schedule and moved the guests seamlessly throughout the venue from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. She worked closely with the photographer, caterer, and musicians to make sure everything went to plan. If anything went wrong during the day or evening we did not know about it! At the end of the wedding she and her two assistants packed up all our boxes of decor/cake/leftover alcohol and took it to our hotel so our family and friends were able to go back to their hotels or to the after party with no worries. In addition to the actual wedding day, Heidi was wonderful from day one. After we decided to work together we met with Heidi early in the summer and showed her around our venue. A couple of weeks before the wedding she also came to our final walkthrough with our caterer. We also had multiple check-in calls the week leading up to the wedding to go through final details. During the week before the wedding she was in touch with all of our vendors to introduce herself and to work out any details which took all vendor management out of our hands. In short, we had a very detailed schedule and notes of how we wanted our wedding to run and look and Heidi executed it with precision and even helped us think of details we might not have thought of ourselves. We had 60 guests and wanted a personal, professional, and elegant Chicago wedding. So many guests commented on how smoothly everything went during the day and how much they enjoyed the pace and look of the evening. We were a very happy bride and groom!

Heidi, cleaned up afterwards without being asked too. She packed up all the decorations and brought them to me the day after. She stayed the whole duration of the wedding even though she didn't have to, and she went above and beyond her duties to make sure our day was special and with no problems. Aly was the first person to reply. After talking to her for only a few minutes I knew that she would be the person that would plan my wedding. Aly has her own business and a vested interest in the success of my wedding. I didn't want a large corporation I wanted the personal touch that I knew Aly would bring. Aly was on board from the start she listened and took particular note of the things that were important to me as well as offering suggestions that were so helpful. I had a plan and Aly worked with me to make my day perfect. Aly was available 24 /7 via email text as well as by phone. Everything was as I asked. The network of Vendors Aly has is phenomenal I had a range to choose from. I was not alone at any time. If I needed any help or information about anything from flowers, accessories, dresses, centerpieces, you name it Aly knew all about it. Aly made arrangements to have my centerpieces made to my specifications. They were beautiful. Aly went above and beyond in every way. My dream wedding came true only because of her. Aly knows her profession and does it exceptionally. I believe it's because she loves what she does as well as she wants the bride to have the experience of a lifetime on her special day. Gordon from MajorMusiq Entertainment DJed my wedding in July 2013 - and we still have folks asking for his info so they can use him for their events as well! Having the perfect DJ was a HIGH priority for me and my husband - and Gordon did not disappoint. Not only was he extremely attentive to our music requests, but he also sprinkled in his own creative ideas throughout the night - some I never would have thought of myself - which truly helped make the whole wedding memorable. Gordon also was able to easily navigate the challenges of working at a venue (Pazzo's 311) that didn't have its own speaker system, and flawlessly executed smooth transitions/narration throughout the night. Chasing Perfection recently coordinated my wedding a few weeks ago. Jenna did my bridal shower in April and after seeing how amazing it turned out, I knew I had to have her do my wedding as well! Natalie was amazing! There were so many moving pieces at my wedding, and Natalie was the glue that held it all together. I was able to tell my family/bridal party if they had questions, or stumbled on an issue at the wedding, to talk to Natalie, and she would address it. The best part was, I didn't have to worry about every little detail the day-of. We met up prior to the wedding and went through the day's itinerary, including set-up, the actual wedding, and teardown. She even went above and beyond, and cleaned up the bridal suite at the end of the night, which looked like a tornado hit it.
