Balloons Like Never Before
In the beginning, I was one of the few women in the business. Because of my background in education, I was very client-focused, especially when it came to children. Ballooning was the easy part. Setting up a business plan, keeping records, ordering supplies and talking to clients were the hard parts.
Serendipity was the reason why Jane met balloon artistry one Sunday, and she fell in love with it instantly. She even met Ralph Dewey and Ken Stillman, famous balloon artists, on the same day. Since then, Jane never let go of her newfound interest and started her own business.
I learned early to listen to what the client wants, offer some suggestions, then work out what will work. I love doing it all. I have to say at the end of the day when a little one looks me in the eye and says "Can you make a dog?" and then smiles and says thank you without being prompted, that is the best there is.
Jane and her team extend their balloon artistry to small family parties to huge corporate affairs. They will be there to almost any event that needs their creativity. Jane feels fulfilled every time she sees the smiles on the children she entertains. She also uses her expertise in giving back to the community.
