The guys at Rogers were fantastic. We were in communication before, during, and after we completed our move. The movers themselves were professional and courteous, wrapped all of our fragile items like glass, TVs, etc... professionally with care. Nothing was damaged - property nor belongings. They moved us in under four hours, and were great to work with. Their hourly rates are also far less than other popular Chicagoland moving companies', so we were happy to tip the guys generously for their hard work. We will 100% be recommending them to our city-friends and family who might be looking for a move.
I would highly recommend this moving company to anyone. The two movers were amazing, and never complained about the fourth floor walk up. They moved at an great speed, even though they were getting paid by the hour. They were very careful with my items; which was much appreciated. Great work, better price!
The 2 men did a nice job moving furniture. I needed to adjust the time when project started. Please improve on responsiveness/communication once hired. It's stressful enough moving and also worrying whether you can find a mutually agreeable time for the move.
The workers were prompt and hardworking. They were able to take apart our furniture and put it back together with no problem. Only downside is our refrigerator got dented a little in the move, which prevented me from giving them 5 stars. Otherwise, I highly recommend them. We hired 3 men and they were very effective in getting the job done and making sure everything was set up the way we wanted. One of the best moving companies I ever worked with.
They were a little late but they kept in touch the whole time and when they came they were quick careful and fast they were very good I would recommend them and they moved my niece after 6 o'clock in the evening which I have found that many moving companies will not move after 6 p.m. they were great very good!!
Great experience with Ollie and Angelo from TLF - they came on relatively short notice on a Sunday, and helped us move some of our bigger items in less than the time quoted by other moving companies. They let us know when they were on their way and arrived a bit early, and immediately got to work quickly and efficiently. Would recommend to anyone looking for reasonable moving rates!

Alliance was the best moving experience, from the first phone call to the final handshake. I found them using Thumbtack, and within the first hour of submitting my request, I was contacted by Phyllis to schedule an on-site estimation. We scheduled a date and time that worked, and on that date, right on time, they showed up and gave me a very thorough in-person review of everything I'd need packed and shipped. They were the only moving company who came out for an in-person estimate (others either just wanted a list of things, or did a "virtual" estimate, but Alliance went that extra miles to really see for themselves what we needed to move, helping us feel confident we were on the same page for the quote.) We had a special situation that would spread our move out over several days, requiring us to store items on their truck (essentially locking up one of their trucks for a couple nights, preventing them from using it) and they offered me a very reasonable quote for all the services, including storage. We called no fewer than 6 other moving companies, and despite other companies having more "word of mouth" recommendations from friends, nobody was able to meet or beat Alliance's service and quote - and this was even BEFORE any actual moving started. We just felt the most comfortable and cared for with Alliance, so we went with them. Absolutely no regrets - they made what was a stressful move into a breeze. The team came in, packed up everything that was odd-shaped like lamps and mirrors, and were very careful with my already-packed delicate items and breakable kitchen stuff. They had our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom (3rd floor WALKUP) condo cleared out within 4 hours, and with smiles on all of their faces. They even were so sweet to our two dogs; I even loved the shirts they wore that said "If your dog doesn't like someone, maybe you shouldn't either" or something like that - well, our dogs were very comfortable with them despite the stressful situation of strangers taking away all of their stuff! That's how you know they're good guys :) Two days later, they rolled up again, and had our new house moved in within 3 hours again. The final bill came in under-budget and 100% perfect - nothing scratched, broken, or damaged. I would recommend Alliance to anyone looking for movers who care, who really focus on customer service from start to finish, and who really go that extra mile to make your move less stressful. I have used many different moving companies and they all seem to be similar when it comes to rates, number of movers provided and liability policies. I found these guys from Thumbtack and decided to give them a try since their rate was slightly lower but the most important factor for me was they had 3 movers coming over when all other companies only provided 2 for an 1 bed move. That equates to getting the job done faster so that not only I save money but also save my time! And oh yeah, I was right of course. They finished up my move more than 1 hour earlier than my previous moves and nothing was damaged. Nothing was scratched. They wrapped just about everything with either shrink wraps or blankets real fast. I mean really really fast. These guys are terminators.. They were really good at following my instructions and everything was executed nicely. I bought them a dozen pack of Tecate for job well done on top of my more than usual tip and they gave 2 bottles back to us to enjoy. Super friendly people. Give them a shot on your next move!
The purpose of this review is to inform you that you should without a doubt trust Chicagoland Moving and Storage for your move. Want the details? Read on fellow buyer: Like a prudent buyer, I researched all the moving companies I could find- Yelp, Angie's List, Home Depot, Thumbtack, you name the impartial review site, and I read it. Chicagoland's price was a little high of the middle of the majority of companies that I saw. I called and was greeted immediately by the owner, Mr. Erez Ron, who did what they all do. He asked for the inventory to be moved, and made a similar prediction in terms of manpower and time estimate as the other companies I spoke to. But then he asked, "How can I secure your business?" Basically the entire time I dealt with this company, every member was realistic and went out of their way to work as hard as they could to ensure this move went over without a hitch. He made a me an excellent deal, and we waited for the scheduled move day. Erez's team, led by Eric and accompanied by Reuben, Tio, and Vincente, arrived punctually as specified, and we reviewed the work- and immediately the expertise of the team stated that this would take longer than they'd quoted. This was expected, and ought to be factored into every move. The team got right to it though. Enter the elements: we got record rain in Cook County that day, and you know what? The team didn't bat an eyelash, and given a break here and there when it was raining buckets, they charged in and out of the rain to load and unload the truck. It DID take longer that we'd expected, but considering how hard it was, I've never seen any moving company work harder, faster, or more efficiently. They were polite, exact, and made sure that what needed to be done was done in the best manner to avoid damage and issues with neighbors etc. I couldn't have been happier with the result! I'd heard horror stories of some companies rescheduling or quitting because the job was too big, or traffic was abominable, or because the weather was too harsh. Friends of mine had incidents with other companies that dawdled on the job, or broke things, damaged the floors/walls of the house, or some objects just disappeared. I've also heard the shock from family members who had entire rooms of furniture moved that never had to simply because communication was poor with the movers. You will NOT have any of these issues with Chicagoland Movers. My research couldn't have been more accurate about it. My overall experience with the genuine, hardworking, and diligent nature of the people I met with Chicagoland Moving and Storage ensured that the move went as smoothly as it rationally ever could have transpired.
My fiancee and I just moved to Evanston. We had a 10 feet U-Haul with furniture and boxes for a studio. From all the offers I received, We Got You gave me the best deal both in price and commitment. Unlike all the other moving companies, We Got You did not force us to commit to 2 hours of service. This was impoetant because my fiancew and I knew the unloading to the apartment would take an hour max. They in fact finished in one hour and thats all they charged us for. Best part is that the 2 members that came to do the unloading were friendly and even did even more by helping us set up the big furniture where we wanted it and putting together things like the bed and frame together. They were also very accommodating because we changed our arrival time 3 times on them due to eoad delays and they did not mind. Overall, excellent Moving Company and most likely if I have to move again within the city, I will reach out to them directly
They handled all of or pre-packed boxes and all our furniture with care. We have some exspensive pieces and had a negative experience with a previous move/moving company, so it was refreshing to have a good experience. There was great communication throughout, and did an excellent job fitting everything into our storage unit. The only problem, was we planned to pay by credit card. We were told by the office that was fine a few days in advance, and that there would be a 3% charge, which we were ok with. The head mover told us this was fine when he arrived, then proceeded to have us fill out the paperwork. At the end of the move he then came to us and said he couldn't get ahold of the office and we'd have to pay by cash. He said if we didn't pay by cash we'd have to wait endlessly to hear back from the office. We didn't believe what he was saying, but obliged because we were on a time constraint. We felt a little scammed and are now unsure if we will use them again when we complete the second part of our move this summer. We'd probably require written communication from them, that we will exclusively pay by card and there will not be any other options the day of.
Never have I seen movers as capable as the ones from Pick Up Movers. I was just taken by surprise with the efficiency and skills displayed by the four men they sent. The company quoted quite reasonably to begin with. So I was expecting a bad to mediocre moving experience. But the movers who arrived right on the clock were anything but mediocre. They packed up everything very quickly and loaded them onto the truck. I was quite scared given my previous experiences with other moving companies. But the men from Pick Up Movers made moving seem like a fun experience.
JD moving services did an excellent job moving my treadmill, which required disassembly as well as assembly. Derek even came back at a later date with a special part so that everything was hooked up correctly.

I hired two Bellhops for two hours to help me move out of my storage unit onto the moving truck. Having the extra hands helped to alleviate any stress of moving and they did all the heavy lifting. The entire process was expedited because of their assistance.

Great people and excellent service and experience! I recently changed jobs and needed to move with my wife. I chose this company based on the level of professionalism, a hassle-free process and what seemed to be a genuine care on their behalf for our belongings. We have a 3 bedroom house, expensive and heavy furniture including dressers, bookshelves and a piano in the living room, 2 queen size beds and 1 king size bed, and valuable jewelry belonging to my wife, etc. and everything was moved safely. Both of us were very pleased with this company from start to finish. I really liked the personal agent that took care of the process from the get-go until we were safely moved to out new place. I would recommend anyone who is looking for the right people to USE THESE MOVERS. We felt that their prices are very fair considering how much we had in our house, but most importantly the security these movers took to assure our stuff was safe. It was definitely worth paying a little more than others but they stayed true to the price we were quoted. If you are on a budget or want cheap service, maybe these guys are not a right fit for you, as they may be a little more than the some but we certainly did not feel that way. However, if you're looking for the right people to handle you property and belongings this is the right people to help move! I guess you pay what you get for. I can't emphasize enough an overall amazing experience, which is crazy to expect from movers or a moving company.. but we they seem to assign you with someone that's actually on call for you from start to finish. These people know what they are doing!
I definitely would recommend J. C. Movers to anyone who needs a moving company, and especially to anyone who needs to have a large, solid, piece of furniture (Armoire) moved as I did. They arrived on time and were prepared to begin the job. J.C. Movers were respectful and very professional.

I was referred to Jason by my leasing consultant when I was planning a move to my current apartment back in June. Jason is very friendly and detail-oriented. He came to my old apartment and did an estimate, he clearly explained the breakdown of the estimate. I must say he and his team went above and beyond. The one and only elevator at my new place was under maintenance during my move, Jason did not charge me extra for that. He did most of the leg work moving my furnitures and boxes up 4 levels! I bet he lost couple lbs after that day hehe! Without him and his team, my move would not have been that smooth and efficient. That was why I referred him to my friend in July, and I am sure they took great care of her! Thank you once again for all the hard work, Jason! You guys are more than amazing! I will definitely recommend you to my friends, and if I move again, you are definitely my go-to person!
