About this pro
Nick truly is an Amazing individual! He is kind, considerate and extremely professional! We had him for a kid's camp, and he taught the kids how to make a balloon rocket and jet pack! He was super patient and kept the kids interested at all times! He then made balloon items/animals for the kids after! I would highly recommend him for ANY event!Jul 2, 2018VerifiedJon C.'s reply
Thank you ever so kindly, Jennifer. Your work is quite meaningful. I am proud to have been a small part of it. Peace, Nick
Nick did an excellent job and he fit right in and did what he came to do. Everyone loved his balloon creations. Thanks Nick for doing my sons 2nd birthday party.Feb 5, 2017VerifiedJon C.'s reply
Thank you Stacia. I like the picture also. We had a good time. Yippee. Cheers
Nick was amazing! He created such a fun and positive atmosphere with his work and we will definitely refer/hire him again! His balloon sculptures were incredible, my favorites were the monkey that sits on your shoulder and the flower ring. Our venue was very unique and he was able to jump right in and adapt effortlessly. Thank you so much Nick, you were the highlight of our day!Dec 19, 2016VerifiedJon C.'s reply
My pleasure, Nermana. I look forward to working with you again. Peace
He was extremely easy to work and arrived at our event early to prepare. Nick created amazing balloon characters (my favorite was the owl that sat on a child's shoulder and did not move) and entertained the crowd while making his creations. I would highly recommend Nick for your next event!Oct 24, 2016VerifiedJon C.'s reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?BALLOON TWISTING ENTERTAINMENT *TIER 1 - Simple balloon creations: 35-50 people will get 1 item in 1 hour. I go fastest when I have only a short list of balloons for kids to choose from. Ideal for large events where you want as many kids as possible to receive a balloon. Examples: poodle, sword, rabbit, kitten, butterfly, parrot, horse. $135 minimum. Multiple hour discounts. *TIER 2 - Multiple balloon creations: 15-30 people will get 1 item in 1 hour. I make much better versions of the animals, hats, jewelry or weaponry being asked for. Ideal for most events at which I currently entertain because I find that people want to say "Wow!" and watch both the kids and adults smiling so big and being so engaged (from corporate events to wedding receptions, fundraisers to block parties, and a wide array of kid or adult-focused parties. Examples: koala, dolphin, crown, giraffe, ninja, sea turtle, princess, unicorn, owl, penguin, green mamba, spider monkey. $150 minimum. Multiple hour discounts. *TIER 3 - Absolute best creations: 5-15 people could get 1 awesome item in 1 hour. Much depends on what's asked for. Ideal for small parties or adult events or when you want the kids to hurry off so the adults can get balloons (which does happen). Examples: characters, imaginative hats, dragon, unusual designs, unique requests, and/or the absolute best versions of anything I could make from Tier 1 or Tier 2 creations. $150 minimum. BALLOON DECOR *Arches, Columns, Arrangements: I would love to decorate your space. Let me know what you want and your budget, and we are well on our way. Examples: 4 color spiral arch, jungle-tree arch with first-rate animals and flowers, rainbow arch with clouds and a unicorn, 6' columns with a topper, pool arch, penguin centerpiece, flamingo centerpiece. $300 minimum, unless hiring me for balloon twisting as well, or unless you are in Skokie, Rogers Park, Evanston, or Wilmette.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I met a guy in college. :) Also, I was near Disney World.
- What types of customers have you worked with? What a pleasure it has been to work for a wide variety of customers and at a beautiful array of meaningful celebrations. I think over 2 decades, I've worked in almost every kind of scenario. You might have seen me or my work on a Marshall's commercial, at a Cards Against Humanity event, Threadless' family reunion, Northwestern University, Evanston Art & Big Fork Festival, Southport Art Festival, Lisle Eyes to the Skies Festival, McGaw YMCA, Daley Center, or at any number of park districts, public libraries, elementary schools, block parties, wedding receptions, or you-name-it-party. You may be so lucky as to join me at Midwest Potter Fest in Waukesha, WI, this September (2018)! I'll twist for 8 hours a day, and also make a custom sculpture of some magical creature for you to take your photo with.
