Introduction: I take my clients health and goals very seriously. I am aware of the importance and the timing of peoples inquiry about training to be a very important decision in their life. I have a very hard work ethic and very personal at the same time. I have a passion for what I do so I continuously study many different principles relating to fitness to better my clients and myself. I love how fitness helps people gain a sense of direction and of course seeing people change. Feeling healthy is an experience. It's different than reading about it.

I have been working with Reji alittle over eight years and we train three times a week. The number of times I train with Reji is an idication how great I think he is at what he does.He has helped me understand that my body and mind are interwoven and need to work together to achieve my goals. He seems to understand without any communitcation what my body's needs by how I'm walking. He will spend extra time stretching my muscles thus preparing me for the workout so I don't injury myself. I have to say that he spends great deal of time stretching my muscles before and after a workout. That's important to me since my muscles are tight due to a curved spine.HE REALLY IS GREAT AT STRETCHING HIS CLIENTS! Not only is he a great trainer but he gives the best massages ever, especially the Thai message. He gets so in tune with your body that he seems to inintuitively know where it needs the most relief. He is constantly teaching me about how to understand my body and its needs.I think anyone would be fortunate to be able to work with him and know him as a person.

I first became acquainted with Reji Bae in 1998 at an exercise studio in Wilmette. He served as my trainer until I retired at the end of 2012. Reji is an outstanding trainer and more importantly is a thoughtful and reliable person. I would recommend him without reservation. On countless occasions he would go out of his way to accommodate my schedule. In late 2011 I was hospitalized with a serious illness for 120 days. Reji worked with me three times a week for 6 months allowing me to return to work and resume an active life. His efforts enable me to complete a challenging rehabilitation in 14 weeks so that I went from being bedridden to hiking 8 miles a day at age 70. My family were doubtful that I could accomplish this but Reji's fitness regimen was remarkable effective. Reji Bae is a tremendous trainer and an even greater person. If he is able to find time to fit you into his schedule, consider yourself a lucky person. Very truly yours, Charles A. Powell

I knew I needed some help and motivation to get active and start watching my nutrition when I couldn't keep up with my kids . After a search for trainers in my area I found Reji Bae who trained in a gym "fitness defined" near my neighborhood. I had my consultation with Reji in which we went over the details of scheduling, pricing and more importantly my goals. Reji is a very down to earth, holistic, calm, technically sound and most important patient person and these qualities one will learn about him in ones first meeting with him! I also informed him about my bad shoulders and stiff back at that time, which he took into account and devised my workouts keeping the injuries in mind. About Reji in a nutshell: (can't list everything here...one has to train with him to realize the zen!) - He will work with you on last minute schedule changes, and is himself very punctual and dedicated to the sessions. - Reji has a sense of humor that he will bring out during the session that will get you through a difficult set with a breeze but at the same time he will make sure that you push your self to achieve the goals and some more. - He started me off at a very realistic pace even though he knew that I use to be an athlete during my college days and was expecting to get into it right away...He wouldn't have none of that and realistically started me off at a pace that my body would respond positively to achieving my goals.( its been 5 months since I've been training with him and I'm in better health and shape than I was in my early 20s!) - He is technically very sound and with him its more about hitting the sweet spot first rather than the reps. "don't loose form" he says "even if you can't go all the way" or "cheat with technique" those are a few of his insightful quotes! All in all I'm very satisfied with my training and Reji has become more of a friend than a hired help. Enough said.

I started working with Reji a couple months ago, just 8 months after having my first baby. He's been great to work with and I enjoy spending a weekend evening with him.
