Kathy and her team were very helpful. We had water in our basement from heavy rains and she was very responsive late in the evening, and flexible to accommodate our urgent situation. Her tech, Jason, arrived on time and was very friendly and helpful; happily greeted both my dog and son. He quickly evaluated the situation and got to work extracting all the water from our carpet, treated with an anti-microbial solution, left us with industrial fans and dehumidifiers to remove all the residual moisture from the space. They will follow up with a cleaning to ensure any soil from the original flood water is removed, carpet and pad are dry, and our home is clean and safe. I would happily recommend First Class Carpet Cleaning for mild flooding water extraction, or standard carpet cleaning.

Choosing the best home inspector can be difficult. Different inspectors have varying equipment, experience, knowledge, reporting methods, standards and pricing. I am glad to answer any question you have to help you choose the right inspector. I have over 25 years of experience in the construction field, for which time I was a custom home builder and a general contractor. For the last seven years, I have been a professional building inspector in the state of Illinois and Indiana. I write my reports on-site and off-site so that I can give you a proper inspection report. While some inspectors who write the report on-site are competent and knowledgeable, an inspection that depends entirely on the inspector's knowledge base and immediate response to the situation is at best incomplete. I take my time inspecting your new home, multiple-unit building, condominium or commercial property. The inspections last from 2 to 3 hours, and you will receive your inspection report on-site or within 24 hours from the inspection. At Master Home Inspector's, we go through rigorous training in numerous hours of continuing education classes where we participate by: - Sharing pictures and thoughts with other inspectors - Consulting with builders and pest control specialists - Looking up codes - Investigating appliance models - Reflecting and utilizing any other resources we feel the situation calls for I bring an arsenal of testing tools, measuring devices, knowledge and experience to every inspection. I inspect the following areas: - Roof - Vents - Flashings - Trim - Gutters - Downspouts - Skylight - Chimney - Roof penetrations - Decks - Stoops - Porches - Walkways - Railings - Eaves - Soffit - Fascia - Grading - Drainage - Basement - Foundation - Crawlspace - Water penetrations - Heating and Cooling Systems - Main Water Shut-Off Valves - Water Heater - Plumbing Fixtures and Faucets - Drainage Sump Pumps with Accessible Floats - Electrical Service Line and Point of Entry - Meter Box - Main Disconnect - Service Amperage - Electrical Panels - Breakers - Fuses - Grounding - Bonding - GFCIs - AFCIs - Fireplace Damper Door and Hearth - Insulation - Ventilation - Garage doors - Safety Sensors - Openers and much more! Finally, my home inspections are focused on saving you money, helping you understand the home's needs, and bringing you peace of mind. Question and answer: 1. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out? - Someone looking for a home inspector should have the address, and if possible, the listing ready. 2. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do? - I completley dedicate myself to each inspection. I always show up early, and I have a new flat rate coming out that is hard to beat. 3. What do you like most about your job? - Meeting new houses and new people. Also, finding out somebody is really glad they chose me. 4. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer? Q: How much? A: $275.00

We had an issue in our kitchen with mold underneath the floorboards which wasn't noticed until we were re doing our floors. This was a very time sensitive matter because we only had 4 days before our lease was up in our apartment and we HAD to move out. To put it lightly Keith was great! His inspection was through, his price was fair, and he understood the urgency of our situation and took care of it. I am very pleased with the services provided and the level of professionalism by him and his workers. I would not trust anyone else to take care of my mold problems from here on out and would highly recommend Green Home Care to anyone with a mold problem.
