I hired him to replace the wall AC in the living room. He responded quickly and brought us a new AC at a lower price than the Internet. Even if an unexpected problem arises, he can respond flexibly. I hired this pro and we communicated for him to to the job and move my things from my storage. Everything was set for us to meet. He didn’t show up!! I called him, and told him not only by phone, but through text that I was going to be a little late about 15 minutes as I wanted to stop at the bank and get the money to pay him by cash. He said okay, that was fine, that he was on the way, and he will meet me at the storage. When I got there he wasn’t there! He wouldn’t reply to my text messages, or even pick up the phone!!! I think that was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!! He literally wasted my time, as I could have hired another pro. I think you “Thumbtack” should be weary of the people you allow to use your platform. Especially if they will do potential clients like this. This was totally a waste of my entire day, my gas, and my time. I had a funny feeling about the guy and should have taken that as a warning. YOU CAN IMPROVE YOUR SERVICES BY TREATING YOUR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT!! IF YOU DIDN’T WANT TO DO THE JOB YOU SHOULDN’T ACCEPTED IT!!! Plain and simple!! PERIOD!!
