Latest Review: Raven is by the far the best personal trainer I have ever met. When I first started with him, I was 250 lb and lost 25 lb within 2 months (meeting only twice a week...when I wasn't traveling for work, which by the way he was very willing to work around). His system draws from a lifetime of experience and a PhD in Kinesiology. He custom designed a specific exercise regime for my body type that was shocking effective. It is hard to describe how much progress I made. I did not expect the results I got. His insight into fat reduction and strength conditioning blew my mind. I learned more in a few sessions with Raven than I had in my entire life. Working with him, I realized how ineffective my past exercise experience was (I worked so hard for a lot fewer results). Not to suggest Raven won't push you hard (in fact, he'll push you to your limit), but it's incredible how he makes the session so fun and fast. For example, in the past, I avoided a "difficult" exercise because I was afraid of hurting myself or vomiting. With Raven's guidance, I was given the courage to go further than I ever had (without evening noticing!). When I threw up for the first time, we celebrated together! It was a rite of passage and I am very proud of testing my limits. If you want to lose fat in a sustainable way, Raven's whole body health philosophy will take you the distance. It's not a gimmick and it takes hard work, but he will get you to your desired weight and body shape faster than anyone out there. Don't sign up if you don't want to put in the work, because Raven expects your best effort. But if you are committed to his diet and exercise program and want to laugh a lot along the way, he's your guy. (And don't worry about your motivation...Rav's an expert motivator and has a way of energizing your desire to get better every day).

Latest Review: I met Ro through a mutual friend a few years ago. I have been a triathlete for about five years but, the past two years I have given up running and focused more on cycling and swimming. Between teaching a spin class, swimming 3 miles a week, and biking 80 plus miles a week I noticed I just wasn’t recovering fast enough from all the exercise. I sat down with Ro for a one on one consultation. Ro dissected my entire nutrition habits. She took in account for everything I ate from the time I woke up until the time I went to bed, Monday through Sunday. After her analysis of the results she noticed my carb intake was much higher than my protein intake . She introduced me to some foods I never thought I would ever eat like quinoa and tofu. She took my food list and substituted these items for some of the carbs I could take out of my diet. Thanks to Ro I feel my recovery time has been shortened and I can expedite my recovery time. Ro checks in with me on a monthly basis to make sure I’m still on pace. If it wasn’t for this help from Ro I would still be scratching my head searching the Internet for what I’m doing wrong. Latest Review: Jenny has been an awesome trainer. For me, the biggest struggle is to get motivated to do cardio. Jenny always has fun and creative ways to incorporate cardio into my workouts.     Latest Review: When I met the owner, Rob.. I was welcomed into the facility with a fair wealth of knowledge, and clear explanation of the possible results his gym has to offer. His facility has a "one on one" feel and does not replicate the crowded conditions you find at large corporate fitness centers. Since several sessions, not only have I increased my capacity to do more difficult tasks, I've found myself returning to more physical upkeep at my home and motivated to do so. All in all, I believe the recipe of routines Rob presented, in short order have improved range of motion and flexibility which is where I was struggling. I'll be returning to Going for Greatness for what I feel was an exclusive opportunity.

    Latest Review: Really enjoy working with Eric. I came out of gymnastics and he was able to make plenty of different workouts in relation to gymnastics while also slowly incorporating weights. Eric knows a lot about form and technique as well and I really benefit from that in my trainings.

    Latest Review: I signed up with Clint for 2 12 weeks sessions. I was highly satisfied. I am very pleased with the results. At first I was concerned about getting sore, in reality I experienced very little soreness. I was happily surprised with the results that came from just 3 one hour weight training and 3 twenty minutes aerobic sessions a week. I look and feel better than I have in years. Clint can adapt a program to your specific needs. I highly recommend Clint if you want to get in shape and be healthier.

    Latest Review: I went to John after a few injuries looking to get stronger in my 3 main lifts; squat, bench, deadlift. He put together a simple, yet challenging program to correct my imbalances, build my weaknesses, and reach my platform goals. I felt the program was personalized for me and my abilities to grow as an athlete. He is very knowledgeable and aware of the mechanics needed for each lift with a willingness to try new training techniques.
