Everyone was absolutely a delight to work with. Holly was our day of coordinator and was so helpful and hands on in making our special day the best day ever. I never had to worry about my vision coming to life, there were a few changes she made and I'm so grateful she did because they turned out so much better than they werebefore. Lindsey is just amazing. We hired Lindsey as "Event Planner" for our baby girl's first birthday party. Lindsey came to our home several weeks before the birthday party to better understand the layout and our wishes, and contributed helpful suggestions. Right from the beginning she was so cooperative. She knows her stuff, listens well, makes the planning fun and easy and the execution-not your problem. She thought of every detail and took care of everything. Without her many things on that day would have been a disaster and I would have had to deal with them. Instead I enjoyed myself and had an amazing birthday party. Highly recommended.

I knew I wanted a day of wedding coordinator so that we didn't have to worry about set-up, clean-up, and all the little details on our wedding day. Forever & Always Events did just that! Jessica and I had a thorough prep call a few weeks before our wedding, and she was there for our rehearsal on Thursday to walk us through how everything would go. Unfortunately, Jessica and her husband, Bill, got sick the day before our wedding, but they filled in with replacements right away. It could have been stressful, but Katie and Laurel picked up right where Jessica and Bill left off. All the details went just as planned, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day!

Yanni swooped in for the rescue after I had originally booked the wrong date. She made sure my baby shower ran super smoothly from start to finish and was my Mom’s right hand as she set up our traditional Indian buffet and from drinks to decorations, she was on top of it all. So happy we chose Chef Val and her staff for our corporate event! The presentation was wonderful, they arrived on time, and the cost was better than any other proposal we received. Everyone loved their food, but the biggest hits were the Deviled Eggs, the Garlic Parmesan Chicken Bites, and the Triple Chocolate and Red Corvette Velvet Cupcakes! I would definitely and use them again for our next event. Thanks so much Chef Val, you were a delight to work with!

We had a client open house at our office for roughly 30 clients and consultants. Being a busy and growing company, we did not have the time to properly prepare for the event, nor did we want to screw it up and embarrass ourselves. SAVING Grace came highly recommended, so we gave her a call, gave her the parameters, which we had lots of, and let her run with it. The party went down without any issues, the staff she secured was amazing, the food was delicious and plentiful and the entire event was a huge success. It is always best to leave things to the professionals, and Grace is certainly that. I would recommend SAVING Grace anytime.

Megan was absolutely incredible! We knew within the first 5 minutes of meeting that she was the one we wanted to work with. We had spoken with other coordinators/planners, who came with lots of their own ideas about how our wedding day should go. Megan wanted to listen first, understand our goals/priorities, and find out the best way we could work together to execute. She was extremely responsive through every step of the process and as the wedding day approached, Megan took so much off our plate. She took charge coordinating vendors, people, deliveries, etc. and made sure things ran perfectly smooth so my wife and I and our families could enjoy the festivities. Honestly I have no clue how we could have done it without her!!

My husband and I hired Hayley from Hawkinson Events to coordinate our May 28, 2017 wedding at Untitled Supper Club in Chicago, IL. From my initial consultation phone call with Hayley, I knew she was our coordinator. Hayley is on her game. She is organized, professional, warm, friendly, funny, calm, detail-oriented, and loves weddings. (Spoiler Alert, that's EVERYTHING you want in a wedding coordinator). We met with Hayley a few times before our wedding (she was always willing to meet halfway or locally for us) and had many phone calls, texts, and emails throughout the planning process. She really lead us in to the final stretch with ease. I had no fears about handing off my hard work to Hayley that final month. She communicated in a clear and professional way with our vendors and family members/wedding party and helped make sure we weren't forgetting anything. She calmed my wedding planning anxieties (will the black table cloths be too dark?!) and shared in all of our excitement. On our big day, she set up the decor flawlessly while fully executing our vision, made sure the day of timeline she helped create went on as planned, and kept any issues at bay. Throughout our wedding day, my husband and I were thrilled of course to be married, but the one thing we kept saying to each other was "This is perfect. Everything today is absolutely perfect." - and we owe Hayley for that. At the end of the process, Hayley feels more like a good friend than a wedding vendor. Pulling off a large, complex wedding or an elegant, small affair requires juggling myriad details, including the officiant, food, drink, wedding cake, entertainment, transportation, rehearsal dinner, photography, equipment rentals, venue reservations and more. A day-of wedding coordinator makes sure that every detail of your wedding day goes off without a hitch, and deals quickly and quietly with any last-minute emergencies. For many brides, the day-of wedding coordinator is their best investment! The average national cost for a wedding coordinator is $800 to $1,000. Although full-service wedding coordinators often charge a percentage of the total wedding budget, most day-of coordinators charge a flat fee plus an additional hourly fee if the day runs long. For example, a 15-hour day-of coordination costs an average of $600, plus an additional $45 per hour if the coordinator works more than the planned 15 hours. Another option is to hire a coordinator to manage the last-minute details leading up to the event; for example, 25 hours of month-of coordination costs an average of $1,200. What should you ask a wedding coordinator?

When you hire a wedding coordinator, you want to make sure he or she gets you and can execute perfectly your vision of your dream wedding. To find the very best fit, it’s important to ask these five questions:

  • Are you available on my wedding date? If the coordinator isn’t available on your big day, there’s no reason to continue the interview — unless you’re willing to shift your date to accommodate their schedule.
  • What’s average cost of most of your weddings? If the coordinator’s usual wedding is outside your range, they might not be the right coordinator for you. Ask whether the coordinator requires a minimum wedding budget. In general, the wedding coordinator’s fee should be about 15 percent of your budget.
  • What is your speciality? Some coordinators specialize in day-of coordination, some create the overall vision, and others act as a producer. Make sure your wedding coordinator provides the type of services that will most help you create the event you have in mind, such as selecting vendors and handling their contracts, or managing the guest list and invitations.

Do I need a wedding day coordinator?

Even if you’ve handled every detail of planning your wedding, you might appreciate having a day-of wedding coordinator in your corner. Usually, the coordinator meets with you a few weeks before your wedding to put together a detailed timeline of everything that needs to happen on your wedding day. Then, on the big day, the coordinator makes sure everything goes according to plan — and handles any emergencies that pop up, such as party crashers, missing tuxedos, late vendors, disappearing bridal party members and more.
