Rachel F. says, "We commissioned Ed and his team to remodel our high rise 3 bedroom 2 bath condo in Lakeview. In total they completely remodeled our kitchen, two bathrooms, sanded and restrained the hardwood floors, installed new closet doors, painted throughout, and brought our electrical and plumbing up to current code. This project took about 8 months, during which time Ed was in constant communication with us and our HOA, coordinating to make sure everything stayed on track. He was always accessible whenever we had concerns and made sure to address them to our satisfaction. Everyone on his team was very nice and courteous, especially given that we were living in the construction area for part of the time. Ed’s initial quote was accurate and the only overages were items we specifically upgraded ourselves or asked to modify. We are very happy with the quality of craftsmanship and Ed’s commitment to integrity and excellence. We highly recommend ES Carpentry for all your home remodeling needs. Peggy N. says, "We are beyond satisfied with the variety of professional services performed perfectly at our home recently by contractor Joe Coan & team (JC Construction - 847-340-5639. We originally called Joe for a quote for concrete work and while he was here we explained our pressing project of sealing off -or removing - a long shed that was attached to our home. There were lots of issues with this project (won't list them all) including carpentry -replacing siding along a back wall- replacing portions of siding on the underside of the roof of our car port - electrical work and more. For our safety - he suggested and secured a ramp to make certain we did not fall on cracked and uneven cement until the spring when he can pour new cement. Joe explained that although he does smaller projects himself - he is a contractor & can do all the needed work including building homes. He was off to build a garage after our project. Joe's attention to detail and his genuine caring nature is amazing. His team was wonderful. We are beyond pleased with the work Joe performed as well as the very fair cost. We are also delighted to have found someone who can do anything. We give Joe our highest recommendation - he found solutions to every one of our issues plus his work was perfect."See more
