I am a singer songwriter who learned classical piano when I was younger and I was looking for a short term teacher to up my level in playing and composing. Mark and I spent three months working on different jazz progressions and soloing techniques, as well as analyzing theory so that I can use some of the techniques in my own songwriting. He is very personable and kind, making sure that I understood the concepts for each class, and really broke things down into strategies that are useful for me.
