I have studied Iyengar yoga with Amy Massat for well over a year, with great, steady progress. I am 76 years old and in good overall condition, but with rotator cuff issues in one shoulder. Amy has made a special effort to work that shoulder, in addition to addressing my overall alignment and ranges of motion. She has a good eye for analyzing a student's performance, and she articulates even the finest adjustments to one's positions very clearly. This past November on Monday nights, I, for the first time ever, started to attend yoga classes with Steph as my instructor! Steph is truly an amazing yoga teacher! As soon as I get to class my stress level drops after the crazy day I have had and as we get started I know the next hour or so is going to be the best, most enjoyable part of my day ☺️ I haven't really taken yoga classes before, but Steph does an incredible job of showing you and helping you get into the perfect position for each and every single pose you do. I have only taken classes on Mondays this past month, but feel like I have learned so much! I also am already feeling like I am noticing some of the benefits of yoga including increased flexibility and strength, along with improved breathing, and better posture. Not to forget to mention that I think it has and will continue to be so great for me post ACL and meniscus surgery. I look forward to continuing taking classes with Steph and seeing more positive results from yoga in the future! I highly recommend her to anybody looking to start or continue the amazing practice of yoga 🙏🏼 Steph is the best and has studied and done yoga all around the world and continues to do so, which makes her the best yogi and yoga instructor ever 💙💙💙

Ive been taking Amys Yoga Sculpt, Ashtanga Yoga and Cardi-yoga classes since August. Her classes are always fun and challenging. Each class is always different w/ the exception of Ashtanga as that is a class follows the traditional Ashtanga sequence. More recently Amy has become my personal trainer. She provides me with daily workouts and motivation. The workouts she has planned have been fun, diverse, demanding and range from 15 minutes to 45 minutes typically. They always use easily assessable equipment (i.e. stairs, etc). I have definitely begun to see results! I highly recommend Amy as a personal trainer and Yoga instructor.
