Introduction: I have been working in the makeup industry for several years and I absolutely love it! I have been trained by MAC Cosmetics' Senior Artists in Chicago and have learned much from them. I have worked doing makeup for video/photo shoots and for news segments. I currently work for MAC Cosmetics as well as a mobile wedding stylist company but do the majority of my work independently which is what I love most! My goal is to make sure each person is feeling confident, beautiful, 100% happy with their makeup, and excited for their day after a visit from me! My personal niche is weddings and special events. I love having the opportunity to work with a diverse client base. Kirsten was wonderful to work with! She has amazing talent, listened to me and achieved exactly what I wanted. I was beyond happy with the results, and would definitely recommend her to others as well as hire her to do my makeup again.

Unfortunately I haven't had Kirsten do my makeup yet BUT I have worked with her at an onsite wedding job. She was very professional and reliable. Her clients all looked amazing. I also noticed she kept everything very clean for every client. Her makeup kit was one to die for! I would recommend her for any of your makeup needs!

Kirsten is amazing with makeup. My sister and I were bridesmaids and had her do our makeup, and she did a fantastic job! Very professional, both technique and quality wise. I have a difficult to work with skin tone and she gave me a beautiful a purple eyeshadow look! First time I didn't look punched in the eye wearing purple so she definatly deserves all 5 stars :) Makeup lasted all day and night even through all the dancing.I highly recommend this wonderful makeup artist for any event!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do provide a list of my services and pricing through email once I am in contact with my client. I prefer to do it this way so that we are able to communicate about services.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I stress open artist/client communication. Right away, I ask a lot of questions and I encourage my clients to do the same. I also love seeing pictures of desired looks that my client would like to achieve. This way we can discuss what would look the very best on you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have received training through MAC Cosmetics' Senior Artists in Chicago as well as on the job training from my years with the company.
