My daughter started piano lessons with Stacey just a month ago but she is so excited every week to go. We have been very happy with how Stacey has progressed her - continually adding more difficult pieces to work on to see what she can do. This is our first experience w music lessons of any type and we are really happy with Stacey De & Co! Even my son, who never wants to try anything new, has started asking about taking drum lessons there. We couldn't be happier :)

Guitar Chicago is the best option for music lessons in Chicago! Their instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and supportive. They do a fantastic job of working with you to achieve your individual goals. I started as a beginner with no guitar knowlege, and they helped me achieve my goals of playing multiple open mics and music events. I've also been able to meet and work with other Guitar Chicago students! They are always willing to work with my busy schedule, which is very hard to find with other schools or group lessons.

I found Eric through a friend of a friend and love him. My 12 year old son has been taking lessons from Eric for about 6 months now and really enjoys it. I never have to remind him to practice anymore. Eric is reliable, always on time and enthusiastic every time we meet.. My son can't wait for his next drum lesson. He really seems to be learning a lot.

My 8yr old son really likes having his drum lessons with Steve and he explains really well not only to him but explains alot to me which I don't know much about drums so I appreciate that, plus my son loves the songs he picks out for him to play on his drums with. Ask my son "he shows me a lot of good/new things and is a really good teacher" I recommend taking lessons with Steve

We cant say enough abiut Eric. We have had an amazing experience with Eric. My ten-year-old son has learned so much and is so inspired by Eric during every lesson. Eric really knows how to work with kids and keep them interested. Not only is he an amazing instructor, but he is a rocking drummer himself. We will continue to take drum lessons with him as long as my son stays interested.

I took lessons with Brad for over 10 years. He was always willing to work with me on what I wanted to work on and was patient with me when I didn't practice (which was sometimes quite apparent.) He is a really nice guy and I couldn't recommend him enough.

Simple. CDL (Chicago's # 1 Drum Lessons) is the only in person one on one drum instruction that offers an extremely original lesson plan on DVD to take home where you can not learn from another teacher, book, etc. Our custom curriculum has been thought out to get a student from point A to point B in their drumming extremely fast, and efficiently. We can also help with a students school band pieces. Just watch some of our sample videos of actual current students. That's our proof! The gratification of helping a student go from not knowing how to hold drumsticks, to playing in a band or recording a CD, or getting a record deal and going on tour just within a few months/years.

About

I have played drums for 40 years and was in the music industry. I worked with Buddy Rich, L. Bellson, and G Krupa. In the area of rock, I have worked with Kansas, Alice Cooper, Rush, Chicago, BS&T, and many more. I teach a standard practical method but also apply what is being taught, so that the student understands theory and develops taste. In this way, they will get invites and earn spots at auditions.

About

I have been playing drums for 15 years, and I played violin before that. I have played in numerous bands, and I put an EP with my brother's band, Needers & Givers. Some of the tracks were used in episodes of Gossip Girl, a TV show. I come from a long line of professional musicians in my family, including my brother Chris Hoffman, a professional cellist with many professional accomplishments including a piece that was used in the end credits of the movie Shutter Island! I am fluent in rock/pop drumming and many other styles. I like to focus on rhythm and coordination for beginning drummers. I am available some evenings and weekends.

About

Hi! My name is Andy and I've been playing drums since I was 6 years old (now 31.) I'm very experienced and love teaching people how to play! I have worked at a children's music school in Chicago and taught lessons at multiple music stores. I also play multiple instruments and am in a band that plays shows around the city. I enjoy opening people up to music and showing them how fun it can be to learn an instrument

About

I love seeing people excited about learning. Kids especially show this excitement when they see growth in their ability and come to the table with something new they discovered about themselves as musicians.
