Mark and I spent three months working on different jazz progressions and soloing techniques, as well as analyzing theory so that I can use some of the techniques in my own songwriting. He is very personable and kind, making sure that I understood the concepts for each class, and really broke things down into strategies that are useful for me. I am an accomplished performer and Steinway Partnered piano teacher who has been teaching students of all levels for the past 10 years. Some of my students have won competitions like the NY Prodigy International Music Competition, performed at Carnegie hall, and have been accepted into programs at Manhattan school of music. As a Steinway partnered teacher, I am able to provide my students with meaningful performance opportunities that inspire consistent growth. I tailor lessons to each of my students based on their goals, skills, and interests. I encourage creativity while teaching discipline and consistency. My goal is always to bring out the best in my students, and instill a deep love for music and learning.
