Cassandra D. says, "Harrison is an incredible piano teacher! He is wonderfully patient, kind, and brings a fantastic positive energy to every single lesson, making the entire experience so much fun. I’ve been his student since January 2026 and each session is filled with so much knowledge yet it doesn’t feel like a chore. He goes beyond just telling me about technique and theory by shows me exactly how to move my body so I can play with total ease. Even had a broken pinky and he knew exactly how to pivot our lessons during the recovery! His creative approach breaks down chords perfectly, completely unlocking the ability to play by ear, improvise, and recreate songs. With the chords and ear training I could easily hear a song and start jamming out on a piano on the spot, which is a great party trick :). Harrison helped me find my own musical voice in the most encouraging environment possible. I cannot recommend him enough!"See more

Denise M. says, "The customer support staff at StookU have been exceptional. When I have a problem, they are quick to respond with a solution, they give timely reminders, help with tech problems (though it's always on my end), take care of scheduling issues and are extremely courteous and thorough in all the services they provide. The company itself provides vocal and instrumental lessons and mentoring. They are a young company and relatively small, though expanding, and everything that I've seen so far - from their coaches and mentors to the sites/platforms, which foster a great community feeling, to the aforementioned customer service - have been well thought out, helpful and effective."See more

Ruben Aldana says, "Its been an incredible experience to have Eli as my jazz piano teacher. Ive been able to see concepts much faster than learning on my own. He has profound knowledge and is incredibly talented. He also listens very intently to what Ive been trying to accomplish and does not withhold knowledge. I absolutely recommend him as a teacher. Great person too."See more

Malia J. says, "I’ve been taking piano lessons with Takeru for 6 months. Out of all the piano teachers I’ve had Takeru is the best! He knows how to teach! I had trouble being motivated and practicing consistently, but he really made me improve on this and has made me read and play advanced pieces which I never ever imagined I would be able to play! I started from a beginner and now I can play challenging pieces! It’s only been 6months! Takeru is kind and patient, he knows how to tailor his teaching methods to each student! Just take lessons with him! He’s great!"See more

Finding a friendly, professional, and highly knowledgeable piano teacher that will come to your home for lessons can be challenging. I aim to solve that challenge. I have a graduate degree in music and have been teaching since 1998. I've been a full-time piano teacher since 2007 meeting with around 35 students each week in their homes. I keep my students happy by being very caring, patient, and very skilled as a teacher and by focusing on finding the best approach for each individual student to succeed with music. I am passionate about helping my students be the best they can be, not just at playing the piano, but in everything they do. With compassion and understanding, I take special care in helping students to better identify their strengths and weaknesses and understand how to skillfully grow with patience, self-reflection, and enjoyment.See more
