My daughter started piano lessons with Stacey just a month ago but she is so excited every week to go. We have been very happy with how Stacey has progressed her - continually adding more difficult pieces to work on to see what she can do. This is our first experience w music lessons of any type and we are really happy with Stacey De & Co! Even my son, who never wants to try anything new, has started asking about taking drum lessons there. We couldn't be happier :)

David has been my drumset teacher for about one year. I like how he makes me write out rhythms and he also taught me how to create drum beats. I've leaned so much studying with David.

I found Eric through a friend of a friend and love him. My 12 year old son has been taking lessons from Eric for about 6 months now and really enjoys it. I never have to remind him to practice anymore. Eric is reliable, always on time and enthusiastic every time we meet.. My son can't wait for his next drum lesson. He really seems to be learning a lot.

My wife and I am very fortune to have Andrew Sole as a drum teacher for our twin boys. Our boys have been taking drum lessons from Andrew for two years now. His teaching skills and care are main reasons why our boys enjoy his drum lessons. We highly recommend Andrew's drum lessons to all. Thank you, Andrew!

I've been taking guitar lessons from Matt for the past 4 months and I highly recommend him for many reasons. I like the convenience of him coming to my home. He grew up in Downers Grove and I in LaGrange. He attended the same high school as me. He's local so I feel very comfortable with him coming to my home. He's very patient and has never been late or canceled a lesson. But most importantly. If your serious about learning how to play guitar then you are in luck because he is the real deal! I'm 56 years young and I've tried lessons before at music stores & with friends and quickly lost interest and got nowhere. Now I really believe I'm going to be a good guitar player in the near future and it's because I have the 'most excellent' guitar teacher Matt Engler! Thanks Matt!!!!!

Eric is my drum set instructor and has been for a some months now. I started off completely new to the drum set with only some basic knowledge of holding the sticks, some basic rudiments and some degree of sight reading. Since I didn't know where exactly to begin with drumming, Eric gave me some basic rock grooves to work on which got me going. Then, when I realized I really wanted to try getting into my schools Jazz band, I asked if we could start working on that. He allows you to pick any direction you want to go in including learning to play along to a particular song that you like if that's what you want. Having some direction in your learning is extremely helpful and having an awesome instructor like Eric definitely helps speed up the process of learning. He also gives tips on your technique which also help improve your drumming - something you can't get if you're on your own. I've gone from barely being able to play the snare and bass drum independently with some rock grooves to some fairly complicated jazz drumming incorporating all my limbs and managing to actually practice and play them correctly. I definitely recommend taking drum lessons from Eric.

My 8yr old son really likes having his drum lessons with Steve and he explains really well not only to him but explains alot to me which I don't know much about drums so I appreciate that, plus my son loves the songs he picks out for him to play on his drums with. Ask my son "he shows me a lot of good/new things and is a really good teacher" I recommend taking lessons with Steve

I got to Taylor's class every Saturday, and have a great time! We learn to play each drum part of a rhythm. It is part history lesson and carrying on tradition of the song. In his class you can drop in and be able to play with no experience necessary! I think everyone should try one class, because you might be surprised how you like! you get to go away with worldly knowledge from a worldly man who has patience and fun all in one!

The staff at Rockstar are easy to work with and friendly. I am an adult who takes guitar lessons. My son takes drum lessons and my daughter takes guitar lessons. Rockstar's instructors work well with kids and adults. The facility is clean and constantly updated. There is a clean bathroom and a comfortable waiting area. Their instructors are also working musicians so their lessons are applicable to real life experience.

About

I have played drums for 40 years and was in the music industry. I worked with Buddy Rich, L. Bellson, and G Krupa. In the area of rock, I have worked with Kansas, Alice Cooper, Rush, Chicago, BS&T, and many more. I teach a standard practical method but also apply what is being taught, so that the student understands theory and develops taste. In this way, they will get invites and earn spots at auditions.

About

I'd say that I stand out because I'm somewhat younger than other teachers but well experienced already. I am more up-to-date on the newer styles of drumming but have also taken the time to learn the classics such as jazz and shuffles.
