Zach was able to obtain my data/ programs, and copy them to a flash drive I provided. He walked me through what had happened and explained that it was a software "MBR" sp ? error and not a hardware problem. My hard drive was reusable and he offered to redownload my windows and other basic software as on it as well for $30.00 more. He was not pushy, but very friendly and left all the choices up to me. So far so good, I have been able to install my programs and have been using my computer. Zach also recommended another hard drive and automated backup. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Free Diagnostics on all equipment brought to me and only charge when job is done. I offer flat rate pricing on all fixes that allow me to do work on my own time such as hardware replacement/repair or software reinstalls etc. I charge $50 an hour for on call jobs such as Network troubleshooting, Systems administration, Wifi or internet issues and other Onsite related calls.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?#1 A brief response on what I can do to help. #2 A quick discussion on phone if possible in order to fully understand the customers needs as to not waste any of their time. #3 An appointment to diagnose or fix the issue. #4 Payment after the job is complete and customer is happy. #5 Follow up info in case customer has any questions.
