FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For personal training clients I do not charge for completing the initial intake form. Following the assessment, I develop a personalized program for you and charge $100/hour for each personal training session. Each training session lasts 60 minutes. For Physical Therapy clients I charge $120 for the initial evaluation and each follow up treatment session. These should also last about an hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Personal Training - I will send you a short intake form asking about your past experience with fitness/strength training/weight lifting, as well as any significant medical issues that may require alternative approaches to training. I will also ask you about your goals for working with me. Then we will meet for an initial assessment and your first training session. During this assessment, I will screen you for any movement dysfunctions that need to be addressed as well as basic movement patterns. From there, I will develop a personalized training program based on all the information I have gathered from the intake and the initial assessment. Physical Therapy - Our first meeting will be a full evaluation of what caused your current injury, your injury history, specific impairments you have and goals you hope to get back to. During this initial evaluation, I will formulate a comprehensive treatment program that will address your specific impairments and determine how to get you back to performing your best.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
