the service was not personal to my fiancé and I. The first sentence essentially advertised his Quick lube business and then about his 2nd career as a hospice chaplain. I could understand the stories woven in that pertained to my fiancé and I but they didn't. In fact my fiancé and I felt very awkward during his part in the ceremony. We thankfully had 2 speakers that were heartfelt and really brought the ceremony to a higher level. To top it off we were pronounced husband and wife without ever saying our vows. We spent $250 dollars to be just rushed through our ceremony and we Gave him essentially free advertisement for his business.. I would not recommend this individual to officiate for anyone I know. The rehearsal went great and meetings were great but we were naive in believing when he said that what he was saying would be beautiful and really touching. I left my ceremony in tears because it turned our moment into a mockery that people still were mortified about at our reception.
