About

I am a high school senior and am willing to help any student falling behind in most subjects in high school. My strengths are math and history. However, I can also teach science classes including 1st-8th grade science, integrated physics and chemistry, chemistry I, anatomy and physiology, biology I and biology II. I also teach math including 1st-7th grade math, algebra I, algebra II, geometry and pre-calculus as well as all history subjects, spelling, reading, and English up to senior levels. Please contact me by e-mail, and I can see if we can figure out how I might be able to help your child!

About

As an experienced and licensed English teacher, I'm qualified to help students of all ages (from elementary school to adult) with reading, writing, comprehensions, analysis and proofreading. If you are struggling with the basics of phonics or spelling or you are struggling with how to find the symbolism in a novel, I can help. I can also help students with their others subjects (history, science, geography, etc.) Now I'm no physics expert so the higher level classes might not be for me but if you need help with reading and comprehending the language there. I'm your lady! Especially for students in elementary and middle school. I'm also available to adults who are looking to develop their reading or writing skills. Just because we are out of school doesn't mean we don't need help! As a bonus, I am also a skilled piano and voice teacher. My first degree is in music performance from DePauw University and I run my own opera company and perform with bands in the area. I have a studio in Broad Ripple but I am starting one on the south side as well. Music training is beneficial to all areas of the brain so training in this area can help you develop your language skills as well.

Sabrina is teaching piano to my Kindergarten-aged twins. She is great with young kids and their parents. She's very flexible with her teaching, willing to adapt to the style that fits them best. The lessons have included a conga drum to learn keeping time, as well as opening up the piano to show how the inside works. The learning environment in her home is very relaxing, and helps to calm my very energetic boys. When my boys do get distracted, she can effectively rein them back in or use their curiosity as a teachable moment when appropriate.

He is a fine young man. He was extremely value to me, helping my son with the following skills: academic tutoring and interpersonal relationship guidance. My son completed a four year college on time, and I feel Arvin was the major reason for my son's success.

About

I'm very patient and flexible in my teaching that allows me to switch quickly between approaches for each student. I'm also passionate about my subject matter. My students in my classroom have remarked on this and that it helps them get excited because they see, not only how applicable it is to them but also, that this is something they can enjoy too.
