My yoga classes are geared toward helping an individual utilize the body to process psychological concerns and begin the step of befriending their bodies; thereby, decreasing symptoms related to anxiety, depression, trauma and other psychological concerns.
I have over 14 years of experience in the social services industry, serving adult populations, families and individuals in clinical and crisis settings. I am trained in Adlerian psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mind and body medicine, and certified as a yoga teacher. My individualized approaches are tailored to the clients and their presenting concerns. I enjoy working with clients to help them discover their true potential. My overall goal as a psychologist is to understand the mechanisms behind the manifestation of mental health symptoms, and determine the most effective and accessible way to reduce these symptoms for all individuals regardless of economic, gender, social or cultural status.
