I studied voice with Dorothy Miller for over four years, and I loved every lesson I had with her! I began taking voice lessons in eighth grade because I loved musical theater, but I could not sing. I was absolutely tone-deaf and I couldn't even read music. When I first began with Dorothy, she gave me nothing but continuous encouragement and support, teaching me the most basic techniques necessary for singing. As I progressed through the years, I not only overcame my tone-deafness but actually became a good singer. She helped me to expand my range by over an octave, adding notes to the top and bottom of my range. I now have a range of nearly three octaves when I began barely able to sing an octave scale. In addition to voice, Dorothy also helped me prepare for various auditions as well as taught me to read music and some basic music theory. She also has experience with acting, especially with musical theater, so some of my lessons were dedicated specifically to enhancing my acting skills, both with and without music. Over the years, I began to develop a friendship with Dorothy because she really takes time to get to know her students on a personal level and always loves to sit and chat before and after her lessons. She always made me laugh and was very kind. I never left a voice lesson without a smile on my face, and I always looked forward to returning the following week. I loved studying under Dorothy so much that I recommended her to four of my best friends, who also took lessons with her for multiple years. I now am in my second year of college and no longer am able to take lessons with Dorothy anymore. However, I still make it a point to catch up with her whenever I have a break to talk about how my semester has been, and it is like I never left. I would give Dorothy Miller Vocal Studio 10/5 stars if I could because she is absolutely phenomenal, and I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. I am very lucky to have been her student, and I wouldn't be where I am today without her.

Ann was the perfect coach. She provides great detail into the art of speaking/communicating and works with an agile style appropriate to the student/client. I learned a lot not just in developing my own speaking skills, but also in so many more elements that make a good presenter beyond just what you actually say.

I have been taking lessons from Sam for about two months now. I am an adult who is coming to vocal training with little experience in singing other than some high school chorus and performances. And I am so glad I did! Sam was immediately welcoming, encouraging, and warm. He is clearly a wonderful person and it shows right away. But maybe more importantly, he is an extremely talented singer, performer and instructor. I really wanted an experienced and sophisticated teacher who will not just encourage me but teach me, push me, and help me to advance and become an accomplished performer. Sam has a great reputation and teaches many advanced, even famous singers but he is also great for beginners. He teaches you not just singing technique but how to develop as a musician both technically and emotionally. Before starting with Sam, I took a few lessons with others who start you off the bat with sheet music and just singing. That doesn't work in my view. Singing is difficult (more difficult than I expected actually) and to progress you have to understand theory, rhythm, timing and phrasing. Sam starts you with these kinds of lessons so that when you start singing you understand the music itself, not just technique. In short, you won't find a better teacher or person than Sam so if you are interested in progressing either as a beginner or an experienced singer, please check him out. You won't be disappointed.

Trena is great to work with. She's a wonderful coach who helps you focus on what actions are needed to progress in your chosen career. In this case, I worked with her on preparation for headshots. She has a wonderful process for planning the shoot to get the most out of the time spent on the session.

Anne was able to improve my daughter's vocal abilities and confidence in a very short amount of time we planned. I was also particularly impressed with Anne's understanding of working with children and how to both encourage and inspire them. It became clear to me what a genuinely nice person Anne was, in addition to being a great teacher, something that is very important to me when finding someone to spend time with my children. We look forward to continuing our vocal lessons with Anne and are so happy we found her!

I am eternally grateful for my experience with All Things Are Possible LLC. I joined ATAP during its beginning stages and it has been a pleasure to see the business grow by leaps and bounds. As a result of working with ATAP, I have been able to play principal roles in shows such as the Lion King, West Coast Cheetah Tour, and Hairspray on Broadway. Dr. Wyche is one of the best singing and acting coaches around. If you put in the work and attend lessons consistently, you will definitely see results.

Aimee was excellent with helping me learn how to project, enunciate, and improve my posture. Though I am not a singer by trade, her lessons were very helpful and encouraging so that I could improve my public presentations and presence at work. Thank you!

I am an actress, acting coach, acting teacher, and a member of SAG/AFTRA. I have been a professional working actress since 1996 and have worked all over the country in theatre, movies and commercials. I love coaching and teaching private acting lessons for those who really want to turn an OK audition, scene or monologue into an amazing work of art that will get you the part! For those interested in learning more about acting in general, I hold workshops and private lessons at all freelance positions. I enjoy helping people perfect their craft, and watching them take with them the skills and confidence needed to stand out and get noticed by casting directors, directors and producers in this crazy but wonderful world we call show biz! I am always available for a last minute coaching job, as sometimes we get those last minute calls, but you still need to be ready and prepared for when opportunity comes knocking. I can get you ready and rolling in no time at all.

Dr. Lynn is very attentive to her students. She assigns challenging pieces and helps her students find the best way to perform them by stressing technique. One of the best things about her studio is that she is a good pianist as well. This allow her to not only accompany the pieces her students sing but allows her to create new exercises for her students based on their needs. The atmosphere of her studio is very friendly and her studio as a whole works together to be the best singing-actors they can be.

Mr. Black has been an excellent acting coach for my 10 year old daughter. My daughter has been great in practicing her monologues. H comes to my house twice a month and he takes one hour or sometimes more to go coach my daughter with voice coaching, reading her lines and posture. This is his third visit and so far my daughter has been focused and enjoys his coaching. The quality of his work is great . everything has worked out well so far and I like Mr. Black's flexibility and willingness to work with my busy schedule.

Michael Replogle has been my go-to acting coach for many years. I've been an actress for about 11 years now, and I would not be where I am today without his help. We worked together many times in Northern Virginia, and I moved to New York City to pursue my acting career and any time I have an audition coming up I need to prepare for, he is always there to help me out. If I can't make it back to Virginia to see him in person, he happily offers to Facetime or Skype me. He is also flexible about working around my schedule, I have a full time job, classes, and other auditions, so when I ask "can you please work this monologue with me tonight? It might be late, because I won't get home until 9pm" his immediate response is "of course." In terms of the work he does with me and other actors, it's amazing how he can evaluate what exactly that particular actor needs and how to get them to perform their best. He has an amazing eye and is very good at communicating in versatile ways with many different kinds of actors. Michael Replogle is not only great at coaching, he loves to do it. He himself is an extremely talented actor, and has worked with every kind of actor you can think of. You will be shocked by how much improvement you see in yourself after working with him. Trust me.
