Before our work together, a panic attack felt like an unstoppable force, a tidal wave of terror that would completely consume me. I didn't know how to stop it, and I felt helpless in its wake. Through IFS, you taught me how to communicate with my inner child---the part of me that was holding onto so much pain and fear. This concept was foreign to me at first, but it has become the most powerful anc compassionate tool I possess. Instead of fighting the panic, I now have the ability to sit with it. I have learned to listen to the scared little one inside me, to offer comfort and assurance, and to gently remind them that they are safe in the present. This simple act of connection and self-compassion has fundamentally changed my experience of a panic attack. It no longer feels like an enemy to be defeated, but rather a part of me in need of love and attention Through this process, I have slowly but surely begun the difficult work of letting go of the past. The pain is still there, but it no longer defines me. I am learning to trust myself and to find peace in the present moment, something I didn't believe was possible before Thank you for your patience, your wisdom, and your unwavering belief in my ability to heal.
