JVA started cleaning my home today. They are the best and I wish I had found them sooner. The quality of the work is better than any other company I've used. My home smells so good after they are done and I don't even want to use anything because I'll end up messing up whatever they have done. They are professional and punctual. Victor responds quickly to any questions which I appreciate a lot! JVA does not typically do in home estimates but I asked Victor to visit since even though I have 4 bedrooms, 2 of them function as offices and I wanted him to get a better idea of the layout I would absolutely recommend JVA to everyone.

On short notice, with a request for a Saturday move-out service, they jumped into action to ensure the appropriate number of cleaners were dispatched to my client's home. The crew arrived on time, and the team did an incredible job! The new owners of the home were scheduled to begin moving in later yesterday afternoon--to a wonderfully clean home! Moses was super nice and I forgot the lady helpers name but they were both amazing! Honestly, my house was a mess! I also had a migraine so I couldn't even really tell them what I actually wanted done but they took it over and cleaned with little to no direction at all. Moses cleaned the fridge out which was pretty dirty and organized the kitchen while I was laying down in the living room feeling like an asshole and the lady took care of upstairs including the bathroom relatively quickly. She knocked out the 2 bedrooms and the office, cleaning and organizing everything! I haven't been able to clean or organize much in my house with a toddler less than 2 years old and a 6 year old and by the time I wanted to, it just became overwhelming. They came in and did everything very well for a very fair price. I am very grateful and satisfied with their services and would rehire them again! Thank you guys so much!

My expectations were blown away! Marlene runs a terrific business and the team couldn't have worked harder. Moved a family out of a three-level home in Reston after 45 years of raising 3 kids and then widower without much maintenance. It was an overwhelming job I'm sure. Marlene was quick to respond and came to house for estimate same day. The price was appropriate for the job and more realistic than others might have been. She was able to assemble a crew for appointment on short notice and exactly the time frame that was necessary to make the sale work. They finished beautifully right on time and buyers came with their agent for final walkthrough just after they finished. Buyers & agent were impressed as they did not expect to be presented with such a thorough cleaning and sparkling condition of the house since they had seen it lived in. My sellers were so pleased by the results, as well as how at ease they were with how Marlene handled things. They may even use B&D for regular cleanings at their new condo, and I will be recommending them to all my sellers from now on. Thank you so very much!

Definitely will use again! We are about to sell our house, the only thing left in the house is furniture. Coming home, you can smell the cleanliness right as you walk in the door. The appliances were scrubbed to look like new. Bathrooms were spotless. Our fans that had accumulated dust were also cleaned! I changed my appointment from 8 to 11 last minute and they were able to accommodate. My house is ready to sell and I am very happy with the result!

I can't say enough about how happy I am with Ordonez Home Improvement. We're selling our house and wanted to get it ready for visitors and we are so happy with the results. There were no small details left out. Everything is sparkling. My house looks amazing. The team was friendly and professional. I had an opportunity to see them work and they took great care in everything they did. Jenrri stayed in contact throughout the experience, from booking to a follow up. 7/3/2015 Mr. Trenton Snyder is the ultimate personable professional! He showed up at my home on time and was ready to get the job done. This was my first time hiring a Handyman, to assemble my entertainment center that had a million pieces. I automatically felt that I was dealing with a true professional, like myself. He answered and explained any and all questions that I had and offered logical and functional solutions. I highly recommend Mr. Snyder because his price was perfect/reasonable for the task at hand; and within 2 hours my entertainment center was assembled. It would have taken me an entire day to do it myself....before I knew it the job was done. He put my electronics items on the shelves after the assembly. I was quite pleased with the service that I received. I will call him again anytime that I have something that requires a Handyman, He'll be my first choice!. Hire Mr. Snyder, you won't go wrong.. James Cox came to our home, which we rent, to assess smoke damage after an electrical fire in our crawl space. He was very professional and took multiple photos of the damage, encouraging us to look watch him while he looked around so that he could show us the damage. While he was there, he discovered a live wire in the crawl space that started sparking when he touched it, so he immediately advised us to call the fire department. He stayed with us several hours until the fire department left, and he shared his photos with us and the fire department officials for recordkeeping. He did all of this, I might add, for no fee. Because we are renters, we don't have the authority to hire him for the job of odor removal, but we are certainly advising the owner of the property to hire him. We completely trust his work, and we were so grateful for his thorough inspection of the crawl space, which could have prevented a second major fire from occurring. The fire marshal immediately cut all electricity to the home, saying that we were very fortunate that another fire had not started, and if it weren't for James Cox's dedication to his work, I might not be sharing this story. My husband and I will certainly recommend NOVAFMS to our friends and family.

Stressed out about packing up the rest of the house, we just couldn't find the time to organize and also pack up the closet. We were referred to Cora by an old neighbor and she responded immediately to our request. She was very responsive and cooperative when setting up a date and time. They arrived promptly and was finished in a few hours. Not only did they organize and pack under my specific requests, but they worked very fast and even help move the boxes into the truck. Matthew did an excellent job cleaning several couches, a chair and carpeting. I would recommend him for those services and will likely have him back to my home when we need things cleaned in the future. I gave him 4 stars because, in the course of cleaning, he accidentally broke the faucet head off of our kitchen faucet. He made every effort (trying to glue it together and making multiple trips to plumbing supply stores) to find a replacement head that day. When he realized the part needed to be ordered he deducted the cost from his bill and when we were not able to install it he came back out and installed it for us. My general impression is that he is a hard working guy and I know he will be more careful in the future since it caused us all a lot of stress.

This was our first time hiring a cleaning a service. We were a little nervous but after reading the reviews for Green home cleaning service they were right on everything. Osmin contacted us right away and came over that day with the cleaning crew to see the house. He constantly keeps in contact with us and asks us how we liked the cleaning. There attention to detail and throurough cleaning is so nice to come home too. I reached out to any lawn care professional in the area that could mow my lawn and I was quickly contacted by Francisco. He and his father both came to my home, inspected the lawn and very nice and fair with the quote they gave. They are also very customer service oriented. They seemed more concern with what was convenient to me than about the business at hand. To add to that my particular yard is not a simple one but they did a fast and neat job. The entire experience has been excellent.

I hired another company off thumbtack, PA commerical / residential service LLC the owner is Tim and that company bailed on me less then 24 hours from the appointment and only after I sent a message to confirm if I hadn't that mover would not have shown up. I called Charlie who answered his phone so that was,a good sign, I told him my situation and what happen. He told me he just sent his men home but would call them and see if they could move me, TONIGHT!!! But told me if he couldn't tonight he could tomorrow. Tonight tomorrow I didn't care. I had taken Thursday off to be moved and I needed it done. Well Charlie gets in touch with me and tells me 3 of his men are on the way. These guys were awesome!!!! They got me moved were professional, extremely helpful and very sweet. This company ROCKS!!!!! Charlie and his crew ROCKS !!! I can't thank them enough for coming to my rescue. Oh and price, it was fair. So if your looking for a company to get you moved look no further Charlie is your guy.

Months ago, I looked for someone to do a small painting project on Thumbtack. And I ended up with a brand new home. Christian, Jessica, Hector and the rest of the team at 5th Gen Group honestly do miracles. We own a 100+ year old row home in Washington DC and we've had problems ever since we moved in five years ago. After dealing with four different contractors that left me unsatisfied, I tried Thumbtack (at that time, new in the DC area). Christian came out to do an estimate and I was impressed by him from the get go - as a woman, I hate when contractors act like I'm stupid or uninformed. Christian never did that, and he answered all my questions respectfully and thoroughly and would defer to my wishes. We initially contracted for a gut remodel of our ancient kitchen and leaking bathroom. Christian's professional opinion was heavily appreciated as well as his vision - he instantly "got" the feel of a space and spent a lot of time listening to not only what we wanted, but how we would use the space and what we planned for the house in the future. Of course, the best laid plans always go awry - we knew our house had a few "handyman specials" but once Christian opened up the floor in the kitchen, we realized we were really in for it. Down there was a hidden mess of rotting wires, missing piping, garbage from the last renovations, and rotted-out beams. Overnight, our budget doubled. I personally wanted to die. But Christian calmly lead us through the process, helped us try to salvage our murdered budget, and focused on explaining the trade-off in home values. We ended up with an additional half bath downstairs (because really, what was another 5K at that point?), brand new kitchen (with a small bar!) a brand new stairwell and relocated laundry room, and a brand new bathroom with a shower (after 5 years of an ancient leaking cast iron tub). Christian isn't completely perfect - he's totally a perfectionist, and if you are one too, be prepared for some long conversations. There is an epic texting exchange over the bathroom tile that I may print out just to see how long it really was. But that's about the only thing. Also, for the other ladies on here- I always hate opening my home to someone because I have had bad experiences with contractors who were, at best, creepy. Christian and Hector were completely professional, and they really went the extra mile to make sure I always knew who would be in the house, when they would arrive, and how to reach both of them. Christian also has a lot of loyalty and integrity toward his clients - he is always fair, both in pricing and in the treatment of your home. He broke a small appliance - the only reason I knew was because he called me when he was purchasing an (upgraded) replacement on his own dime. All renovations are hard projects, long projects, and frequently frustrating. There was definitely a day when I wanted to kill Christian for sending me out to two different quarries in far out Virginia right around rush around. But when I stepped into my home for the first time, I couldn't stop smiling. And when we finally scrape together the budget for a third floor extension, I know exactly who I am calling.
