Kimberly and her assistant did a great job. They arrived later then expected due to traffic, but jumped right in with helping to set up for my wedding. We can not express into words the phenomenon job that Extravagant Affairs did for our wedding on 11/05/2016. From the time that we chose them to handle our catering needs to the very end of our special day, their team handled every detail with the highest level of class and commitment. Where do I begin?!!! Trina and her team were amazing! I initially reached out early last year just looking for quotes on decor setup. Trina responded immediately with a very professional and friendly response. Several months later, it was because of that response, that I reached out again. This time I also needed day of coordination services, along with the decor setup and tear down. She retained her professionalism and after our phone consultation, my wife and I knew we wanted to hire Affairs Remembered. Trina was a true blessing from the very beginning. There wasn't a question she couldn't answer, and her response time was very quick. Her pricing beat out all the rest, and was extremely fair. She never made us feel like we had "dumb" questions. We loved the fact that she was open to our suggestions, but when needed, advised us of a better solution she thought would work better. We appreciated that honesty since we had been planning on our own for so long. Much to our surprise Trina began taking over almost immediately. She maintained her professionalism when problems occurred and made us feel comfortable that we could trust her, and her team on our wedding day. Our ceremony and reception were outdoors and due to the weather Trina took good care to make respectful suggestions for our families in regards to having to tolerate the unexpected cold. With so many last minute changes, Trina communicated with all of our vendors, and made sure everything would still be executed according to our contracts. The day of our wedding, Trina and her team went above and beyond in all aspects. They called to make sure our hair and makeup team arrived on time, they tracked down park rangers when our caterer was stuck at the entrance of our reception location, the list goes on. They made sure my wife and I were calm, comfortable, and happy the entire day. Trina rearranged our timelines last minute when we took more time for our photos. She handled our families with respect, even when they were complaining. The biggest issue of the day was when a vendor was a no show. She tracked them down, and didn't take no for an answer in trying to resolve our major issue. She even offered to help mediate several days later to make sure we were refunded accordingly. You can trust one of the most important days of your life in Affairs Remembered's hands. Being someone who thought I had it all figured out, hiring Affairs Remembered was one of the smartest decisions I made. Our ceremony decor was breathtaking! Not once did we feel our wedding wasn't important because it was small and non-traditional. In Trina's eyes, our wedding wasn't just a "park wedding" but was just as important as a huge extravaganza would have been. Thank you doesn't even begin to describe how grateful we are to have worked with her!!

Angie did a great job assisting me with planning my wedding and an exceptional job coordinating the event, on the day of. She provided lots of inputs toward the planning, coordinated my wedding rehearsal, introduced me to some very talented and reasonably priced vendors (seamstress and florist) who both did an excellent job with my wedding dress alterations and my wedding flowers. Angie also did all my wedding event decorations which looked so spectacular; my guests are still giving me compliments about them till this day. Angie was heaven sent... and I had a blast working with her. Thank you, Angie :)

Camillion provided gold chiavari chairs and 2 rosette tablecloths for my wedding. The chiavari chairs were the most affordable price with Camillion events. The items I rented from her made the reception look great ! Cami was very responsive and answered all my questions/calls. She sent me pictures of any items I had questions about. Payment was easy and hassle free as well. She was also very flexible when it came to delivery. The items were delivered as we agreed so hotel staff was able to finish setting up early. Keisha did an amazing job coordinating all of the vendors on the day of our wedding and all of the family and friends at our rehearsal. She is fun, easy to talk to, and also extremely organized and on-the-ball. (Her military experience definitely comes in handy!). Her recommendations for a florist also saved us a lot of money on our centerpieces. She is fantastic - you will not regret hiring her. Everything ran smoothly!

I would whole heartedly recommend having Michelle Farmer plan your party or event. Prior to using her services I had the pleasure of attending a bachelorette party, wedding shower, and baby shower planned and organized by her. Each had a wonderful theme that was tasteful, with unique and hand crafted touches that served as keepsakes for the guest and honoree. You could tell she had developed a rapport with the client, catering staff, and venue staff. The events felt relaxed and fun, but at the same time in retrospect you could tell there was no awkward moments as things naturally progressed from games, gift openings, eating and chatting, all while she worked unobtrusively to see to the needs of the hostess and guests. As an Executive Assistant and Meeting Planner, I admired her tact, poise, and welcoming demeanor at each event. The hostesses have all sung her praise and it prompted me to use her for an event of my own. She worked tirelessly and delivered a flawless evening for myself and my friends. She graciously assisted in the development of a theme that fit my tastes and gave valuable input on how it could be tailored to me personally. Her work with the menu took into account varied tastes and budget along with the theme. She also provided hand crafted items to compliment the décor that set the evening apart and were practically Martha. Definitely use her services if you are able to set you apart from the other rounds of dinner parties and showers.

My husband and I decided just 3 weeks before our wedding that we needed a wedding coordinator and we are so glad we did! RoDonna and her team came to the rescue on very short notice and helped us pull all of the details of our wedding together. She reviewed all of our vendor contracts and contacted our vendors, and she put together a very detailed schedule for the day that everyone could follow. All of our vendors told us how impressed they were with her! The whole day went perfectly and we could not have done it without her. She was very professional and her pricing was very reasonable. I would recommend her to any bride in the DC area.

Where do I even begin in explaining how great it was to have Keshia there the day of my wedding. We hired her to be a Day-Of-Coordinator but even before the wedding day she was helpful in making sure we had taken care of all the important pieces and gave us advice on the timeline, how to handle certain things with vendors, and some general tips here and there. We knew from the first conversation with her that we could trust that our vision would be executed perfectly that day without us having to think about a thing. We had done a lot of the decorations for the venue ourselves and Keshia made sure that everything we had created was set up just right. All I needed to do was ask and Keshia helped with a big smile. And often I didn't even need to ask - she was just right there at the right moments!!
