I have always been reluctant to get a personal trainer because I thought I could do it myself; not to mention it was very costly. After months of frustration not seeing the results I expected, I decided to post on Thumbtack to get pricing for personal training. I received multiple calls and emails from various trainers in the area. Robert, from Fitness Stop, called with detailed information about his weight loss and strength training plan. Because of the information he provided, and I can assure you the other trainers did not give me this information, I was convinced I needed to meet with him for an initial assessment. After 6 weeks of following his plan, I've lost a little over 4% body fat and gained lean muscle mass. Not only do I feel healthier and more energetic, I've lost weight and inches! I've worked with majority of their trainers, and they are all amazing! Each workout is different to prevent your body from hitting a plateau. Not only that, but it breaks of the monotony of the average mundane workout. I would 110% recommend Fitness Stop for not only weight loss but overall improvement of health.

I've been training with Nate several times a week for over 5 years, and I couldn't be more pleased with my progress, fitness level (strength, duration, flexibility), and the ongoing challenge and diversity of workouts -- they're never boring and incorporate strength, stability and core, time under tension, and functional training for every part of my body. In addition, Nate's a nice guy with a great sense of humor, so the workouts are tough but enjoyable. After his initial assessment, he continued to take the time to get know me individually and has a vested interest in my health, well being, strengths, and weaknesses (he enjoys identifying and having me work on my weaknesses!). Nate works hard with each of his clients and he customizes each workout for their individual needs and goals. In the 5+ years I've trained with him, Nate has never been late or missed a workout -- even in snowstorms! When I need to change a training appointment, Nate works very hard to find a time that is mutually beneficial. Finding the right personal trainer that had the proper knowledge, experience, equipment, interpersonal skills, and motivation to align with mine was tough; and I couldn't be happier to have found Nate. My investment in training with him has been more than worth it: I'm in great physical shape, my doctor asks if I've found the fountain of youth, and I've made a good friend in the process.
I discovered Jenise through thumbtack and by reading reviews about her. I had been seeking for a personal trainer. After my initial consultation, I knew that she was the trainer for me. To give an overview of my fitness level: I am 26. I am a non-athlete. Actually, I’m pretty uncoordinated and clumsy and have never regularly exercised before. I love yoga but I also never got into doing it regularly enough. Its rare to get the motivation for me to get up and go to the gym which is why I chose to seek a personal trainer that can come to me and give me an individualized service. When I contacted Jenise, she offered for a consultation and to see my goals and ultimately see if my schedule will fit in with hers. I should have worn appropriate clothing at that time to do a fitness assessment… nevertheless, after booking she came to me for the assessment, measurements, and weigh-in. We completed 12 sessions in a 1 month period. Just like learning a new skill or a language or an insurance for a healthier life in the future— every penny is worth it. If I could afford it, I would for sure continue working out with Jenise 3 times a week all my life!! But this has been a really great stepping stone to a STRONGER me. The workouts as other reviews mention are different each time although during every session you focus on different parts of the body. Usually you do one session focusing on lower body, one on upper body and one focusing on the core. She makes sure that your workout is high-intensity and always adds new moves or gadgets to the workouts to make it fun. Boxing, resistance training outside in the neighborhood, when the weather is nice, were some of the highlights for me. Even though, I liked the convenience of her coming to me.. I also liked going to her location at the end of the week to top off my workout and get the MOST out of my weekly workouts. Her gym has all the equipment needed to kick butt. She really understands the anatomy and where your weaknesses lie as a unique individual. She builds your workouts according to these and changes the number of repetitions or the amount of weight as necessary during the workout. She watches you closely on your form and ensures you get the most out of every exercise. I personally never liked working out because I never knew how to. I knew I had terrible form and didn’t know how to fix it. Jenise became a teacher to me and showed me how to properly lift. She also always reminded me to breathe when I exerted energy (I tend to hold my breath when I lift .. its no bueno!) Now I see that I have made progress and I have learned proper form, I am keen to continue with it. My 12 sessions came to an end last week. I would 100% renew more sessions with Jenise if it weren’t for my mother looking to join a gym with me. Right now, my finances and time aren’t allowing me to afford both, but I know for certain Jenise and I will be training again in the future. I can tell she has made a STRONGER me and I don’t want to lose any of what I have worked for this past month! If you are hesitant, I get that. Truly. But give it a shot. Jenise is wonderful. Trust her, she knows exactly what you need. I'm so glad I trusted her on this journey. I highly recommend CW3 to everyone!

I would definitely recommend training with Svet and the rest of his team. Svet is a great trainer that actually cares about my goals and makes it possible for me to reach them. Each workout is different and is tailored to my current abilities, but at the same time it is sort of uncompromising when you have a bar set. You are pushed, but these trainers know exactly where your limit is. I was also given advice on food and how to eat along with a list of supplements picked out for my personal workout plan. Svet will drive out to my house or we can have the session at a community gym. The training is at a great price and it is well worth the money. If you want to reach your goals, train with Svetness!
Wilma has truly changed my life, my lifestyle, and my body! I was never heavy. I have always been a medium-sized frame that I maintained mostly with diet. Though I was never heavy, I never felt satisfied with my body shape and my propensity to gain weight easily. I attributed my weight loss woes to genetics, and I have strived to be lean and fit for over 20 years, essentially since middle school. Prior to my December 2011 wedding, I managed to slim down to 126 pounds. I admit that stress and starvation rather than diet and exercise made it possible for me to achieve this weight in time for the BIG day! When I met Wilma and began training in October 2012, my weight had jumped back up to 135 pounds. Once I began training with Wilma, she taught me some basic fundamentals about diet and fitness. I learned how the body processes protein and carbohydrates, and most importantly, the devastating impact of sugar on ones diet. Within 3 months, I achieved my weight loss goal. In fact, I dropped to 120 pounds!! In 20 years, I have never achieved the fitness and weight goals I have desired until I began training with Wilma. I work out 5-6 times a week and eat a clean diet. In these 6 months, I have lost over 16 pounds at my lowest weigh-in. My bloodwork reflects this milestone too my cholesterol and triglyceride levels are amazing!! Remarkably, I have taken 3 extended trips of 2 weeks or greater during this time period without gaining much weight at all. I am able to cheat on my diet more so now because of my increased metabolism, but I try my best not to cheat since Im constantly reminded of the fundamentals instilled in me by Wilma. I actually feel the impact of eating poorly on my body even though it doesnt immediately translate as weight gain on the scale. I love the fact that Im fit and energetic, and slowly but surely Im starting to develop muscle tone and strength. Wilma has inspired me to continue this lifestyle forever. I know I will age well and stay strong long into the future as long as I practice Wilmas preachings .
First, what a great guy! I'm a female and always felt comfortable. Brian has so many different ideas and techniques I never get bored. I'm training for a specific event and within 30 days every number improved. I did my cardio on my own and did strength training, core workouts, legs, lifting, etc. I highly recommend.
Laurie kicks butt. She has motivate me to not give up. She truly takes her one on one training seriously and I love it.
I really enjoy my sessions with Niki and was impressed how much she incorporated my exercise preferences into the training. Although I already had a fairly good level of fitness, she helped me to iron out mistakes in my technique and identified a rather significant lack of flexibility which was holding me back in achieving my desired results. Most importantly, her calm and gentle approach made training with an expert of her caliber a lot of fun and not scary (like I expected) at all.

I can’t say enough good things about Julian! We definitely hit the jackpot with him and in a very short time, he’s become a great trainer, mentor and role model for my 15 year old son who has wanted to increase his strength/stamina while working on his soccer skills. Julian very quickly responded to my search for a personal trainer and was incredibly professional during our introductory call. It was evident that his knowledge of /experience with soccer as a player and coach would be a good match for my son. He also shared his philosophy about strength training with kids, specifically how he seeks to understand what motivates and is important to them, so he could then weave in his expertise which ultimately would result in a truly customized program to help accomplish their goals. He was eager to “meet” my son and scheduled some time to speak with him personally over the phone and get to know him. I was impressed at how he was able to get from a 15-year old boy, what his fitness goals were! In less than a week of my initial inquiry, my son was training in the gym with Julian and has absolutely loved every session with him. Julian maximizes every second during each workout and even encourages kids to come in early to get warmed up (so really, while you pay for a 60-minute session, you get 70-75 minutes!) My son has already noticed physical changes, but beyond that, his sense of confidence, focus, and dedication has increased tremendously. Julian provides encouragement inside and outside the gym by keeping tabs on my son and checking in on how he’s doing. Even when my son tried out for another soccer team, Julian gave him sound advice throughout the process, acted as a sounding board, and alleviated any anxiety he had. Nick is a energetic and passionate about his work. In each training session, he motivates me to and pushes me to my limits. He also goes out of his way to check up on me outside of our sessions to make sure I hit my diet goals outside the gym. At the start of my training I was very unfamiliar with proper use of equipment and had spent little time in the gym! Personal training was a big step out of my comfort zone as I had never followed a set routine before, Michael alleviated all of my worries and started me from the ground up! He is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to excercises that beginners can preform, and has developed a program with visible progression and results. Would highly recommend him for his attention to detail and knowledge of nutrition and excercise as well as a fun workout!

I just started training and I already love it. He pushes me but also makes me push myself and I feel like I will get the results that I really want by continuing with him. He has a great website that not all trainers on here had and he I think he knows what he's talking about even more than the most professional trainers! He is the perfect trainer!
