If you want delicious food at an affordable price, you want Chef Kev! I’m am surly the pickiest eater there is, but Chef Kev got the best of me! We hired Chef Kev to provide the food for a networking event that we hosted. As an event planning company, we have had the chance to taste food from many different caterers throughout the Maryland, DC and VA area, but Chef Kev is among the best! His food made all the difference for our event and we cannot wait to begin referring our clients too him! (I should also mention how professional, and neat he was. He left the venue looking better than when he got there!)

Angie of Honey Do Wedding and Event Planners was one of the best decisions we made throughout our wedding planning process. She was affordable (especially for a student and military wedding) but always made us feel like her number one clients. Not only was she a great value, but she went over and above what we were expecting. We hired her to be our day of coordinator, but we met with her on a regular basis and she always responded to all calls, texts, and emails. Angie is incredibly personable, knowledgeable, and has connections with various other wedding vendors. As a same sex couple, she never treated us any differently than an opposite-sex couple, and she actually was great at recognizing the subtle differences that come with having two brides. At our first meeting at a potential venue, Angie came prepared with examples of her work and binder with all of our info. She even printed out new forms that said bride and bride instead of bride and groom. These small but significant touches are what make Angie stand out among other wedding planners. She helped us negotiate with vendors to get better prices and confirmed all vendors the week of, lifting a lot of the stress off of our shoulders. We can't speak highly enough of Angie and the Honey Do family!

Mitch was great. He took my ideas to a whole new level but within budget. He can take control and solve any issue without breaking a sweat. The venue was transformed, and having him oversee everything was the best choice I could have made. . Working with EA was amazing... from start to finish. Their responsiveness, their professionalism and their vision--had me from day one. From the time of first contact, Shavonna calmed me and reassured me that EA could turn my vision into a reality. We hired EA for event design--and they did just that! Every picture I sent and every idea I conveyed was implemented to the fullest extent. EA received kudos from my venue and my wedding planner for their efficient manner for getting the job done, as well as the exquisite design details. When my new hubby and I were introduced, as we walked into the ballroom, I literally cried. As a bride, planning for months, you can never imagine just HOW it will all pull together--your vision, your ideas, your dreams--that makes you so very nervous. As we walked through the crowd to start our first dance, I remember thinking "it is literally dead-on...they nailed my vision dead-on..." I remember telling Shavonna prior that I couldn't imagine how all of my ideas would pull together--couldn't envision it... her response was "leave it to her--that was EA's job, that's why I hired them...so I could remove that concern off my plate" Once again...dead-on.... From the lanterns, to the Eiffel tower feather centerpieces, to the gorgeous linens to the spectacular feather bouquets/boutonnieres/corsages....I am forever grateful.... Many people tell you to prepare for something not to go right, or for something not to be perfect on your wedding day. However, I can honestly say, hiring EA will prove everyone wrong...your day will be amazing--far beyond what you ever dreamt possible--they will meet AND exceed your expectations! Maribel, Noel, and company catered our wedding at a private venue in Fairfax, VA. They exceeded far above and beyond our wildest dreams and expectations for our wedding. Everything from set-up, food, and breakdown went so smooth and without a single hitch. They catered to our every need and made the place look immaculate. My wife and I couldn't have asked for a better company. Maribel and Noel are the absolute best!

Sara did an amazing job doing makeup for me and my bridesmaid on the day of my wedding. (2.16.2017) She met us at the venue (we were able to get ready on site) on time, and worked carefully but yet at a great pace; she did all seven of us (plus a mother who wanted a small touch up) in about 3 hours and 30-45 mins. She brings good treats with her for the party to munch on while getting ready and music, so we were able to have fun despite the hustle and bustle going on to decorate and get the venue ready! She also uses completely natural makeup, so anyone can have their face done. My sister is very sensitive and has reactions to a lot of mainstream products, but she was fine after Sara did her makeup and the rest of the day! Our professional pictures are not in yet but I have a few here from one of my bridesmaids that give a good look at some of our faces. My friends are already very beautiful women but Sara transformed them into glamour models! I would highly recommend her! Thank you again Sara for your service :)

We hired Lisa to be our on-site wedding coordinator a month before the big day, and she jumped right in and helped everything run smoothly and efficiently. She worked with the on-site staff to decorate and prepare the venue and she did a great job. Would recommend Lisa to others.

We hired Minute Events Catering for our wedding. From the beginning we met with Chantel to get a vision of what we wanted and how they can help. We decided on a couple brunch options and unlimited mimosas. Chantel provided her advice and past experiences to help us make some last minute changes, that ended up saving us some money at the end. Our tasting with Chef Steve was delicious the chicken and waffles was perfect, and the sweet tea was to die for. With us coordinating this out of town, he went out of his way to make sure we squeezed the tasting in on a Sunday, even though they aren't open on Sundays. Chef Steve was sweet and not too intrusive. He offered his advice without pushing us in one direction or another. He asked if we liked to make any changes to how the food was prepared, and he delivered on those changes on the big day. They were prompt for the final walkthrough at the venue and sent in the floor plan. They called to make sure we understood how everything was going to go on the big day. On the actual day, they arrived on time and provided the services we were contracted. The food was amazing and our guests loved the chicken and waffles and salmon especially. They made sure we got our food first with all of the options, and they had set aside several of our speciality drinks for us. Thanks again to Chef Steve, Chantel, and Minute Events for making our day special!

I had the best surprise 21st birthday party thanks to O&O Events. The quality of service was amazing from the DJ, to the open bar, and the decor of the venue. Amelia made sure to execute all of the requests that were made to make sure I was 100% satisfied. All of the companies she worked with were also amazing! I first had the pleasure to work with Mommy a la Carte during my surprise baby shower. Tamika planned engaging games for us to play along with every detail of the celebration from securing the venue to the catering. When it was time for my son to arrive, Mommy a la Carte helped me plan the design of my son's nursery and to consider some of the details I wasn't even thinking about! My son's room turned out great and was functional for sleeping, changing, and those late night feedings. Mommy a la Carter helped me with the planning of my son's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd birthday parties. Tamika worked with me to flesh out ideas and think about the most creative solutions. All three birthday parties for my son turned out great! Tamika was very easy to work with was patient with me as I asked questions and she provided very thorough responses. I was impressed with her creativity and ability to 'think outside of the box.' I look forward to continuing to work with Mommy a la Carte in the future as my son gets older.
