Great acting coach!! Really boosted my confidence! Thanks Relly!
I teach classical piano and vocal music lessons, as well as acting lessons and basic stage movement techniques.
Though VERY HOT, the work had to be done basically in full sun. Even after my urging to stop for a time, they stayed with it until the job was completed . . . and they did it well
Hello! Do you have a child who wants to learn how to sing, but you don't want to spend a fortune on private lessons? Are you looking for a fun introduction to music and singing yourself? We might be a perfect fit! I have been taking voice lessons for the past 8 years studying under many different teachers in both classical and musical theater styles. I'm about to earn my BA in Music (primary instrument voice) and Theatre Arts in December from Benedictine College. Recently, I started giving lessons to friends, and I am looking to expand my clientele to include beginning children and adult students. Whether you want help preparing for an audition, want to brush up on your musicianship skills or just want to sing for the joy of singing without hurting your voice or the ears of those around you, we will come up with a simple lesson plan to fit your needs and comfort level. Since I am just starting out as a teacher, the lessons will be very affordable and I will work with you to find a price that suites us both. (Nothing like the $50 to $100 an hour most experienced teachers charge!)

I am able to coach in areas of arts and language. I have completed a BFA in Musical Theatre from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri, and a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Whether an acting coach, voice coach, Spanish tutor or consultant for diversity and inclusion, I offer experience, a helping hand, patience and understanding.
My slogan is "Making connections count." I am a skilled signer/songwriter and enjoy giving guitar and singing lessons. I am also skilled at helping grow their social media presence. My background in theater and english also allows me to teach or tutor actors or anyone trying to hone their writing and speaking skills.
I conduct guitar lessons at your own pace with motivations to follow through, drawing tips, ideas, framework, and out-of-the-box imaging. I can show you what you need to do to be good at what you do. It takes time and your mind.
I have been teaching voice lessons for over a decade. Students learn to control their instruments and use them in a variety of music styles.
I am a recent college graduate with a degree in Theatre Performance from Northwest Missouri State University. I am well versed in many acting styles - from contemporary to Shakespearean, Restoration, Greek to musical theatre, etc. I have varied experience directing straight plays and would be thrilled to have the opportunity to help you get that next acting gig, whether it be for a school play or just to improve your skill set!
Don't take my word for it, hear what students have to say! "Alex knows how to dissect a song, pull it into little pieces, and then reassemble it into something you hadn't even realized it could be" Hassan Nazari-Robati Lumière - âBeauty and the Beastâ National Tour "Alex was able to bring out a quality in my voice that I had never heard before! He knew where and how to help bring the best out of me!" Phillip Ramsey Regional New York Performer âI needed a specific song for a last minute audition. For 15 minutes before the audition Alex played it for me and offered some ideas and different choices I could make. Not only did it help me connect with the piece but it also helped me vocally. The following day I went to an audition and booked the job with just one fifteen minute session. I think what is most important to me, especially as a dancer, is that he provides a very comfortable environment where I'm not afraid to explore or try new things. He is also able to break it down into terms and ideas that are easy for me to understand and apply.â Erika Hebron Swing - National Tour of âWest Side Storyâ
I am upbeat and excited about teaching and give rewards and celebrate in my students success. I'm very creative and if something doesn't work, I teach it in a different way so they can understand.
I'm a young teen who helps others in ways that other people might not be able to do.
