I have Microsoft MCP, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Server+ (2004 and 2009), Project+, i-Net+, e-Biz+ and Dell DCSE certifications. I know how to talk to the help desk, the network administrators, the DBAs and all the other people who support your users with their IT needs. I can be especially effective if you outsource these critical functions.
I can do this because I have worked on a help desk doing phone and remote support. I have been a network and LAN administrator. I have built servers and deployed laptops and desktops.
As a computer lab supervisor at a large community college, I have managed the efforts of 12-15 lab aides per semester. I recruited, trained and scheduled the aides for 14 labs on three campuses. I also scheduled open and classroom labs for instructors and inventoried and ordered supplies for the labs. I was an Award for Excellence winner for my work.
