We asked Chef Kendall to be our chef for my husband’s 40th birthday dinner party (group of 9). We were traveling from out of town to an Air BnB, and didn’t know much about the place we were staying other than the fact that there was a kitchen and a dining room table that fit everyone. From the beginning, Chef Kendell was very quick to respond, and willing to work with me to make the perfect evening come to life. I had a set budget, and he came up with a very nice menu that fit. We had food sensitivities, and he edited the menu for our needs.
On the day of the party, he and Cody were very punctual. They came in and went right to work. We relaxed outside for a while, and when we came back in, the dining room had been transformed, with nice table settings and charcuterie! Everything was delicious. In fact, most of our party said that meal was the highlight of the trip! The fish was done perfectly and the gluten free apple pie was perfect.
I loved how friendly and personable, but also professional, Chef Kendell and Cody both were. After the meal, they entertained questions while also leaving the kitchen just as they had found it. We were sad to see them go that evening, and hope to see them again if we ever make it back to Louisville.
If you have a dinner coming up, and you want a fabulous evening with great food, hire Chef Kendell! You’ll be making a memory that’s sure to last a lifetime.

I reached out to Chef Kendell about catering a dinner for a group of 12 while we were in Louisville. He was very quick to get back to me and the initial call we had was very helpful in terms of laying out options, making recommendations and working closely with me to create the best possible experience. He was also very responsive to all messages and made great suggestions all along the way.
On the day of the event Chef Kendell and his team arrived at the house we rented a little early and got everything set up. They provided service during our cocktail hour, even offering to mix drinks using whatever we had on hand. The dinner itself was outstanding (his short ribs are maybe the best short ribs I have ever had), and the entire team was engaging and great to interact with.
We could not have asked for a better dinner experience and I would recommend Chef Kendell and his team to anyone looking for great service, amazing food and a fun evening.

If I could give 10 stars I would. From the first contact Kendall was responsive, punctual and professional. He arrive on Christmas Day promptly at the scheduled time (from 3 hours away). He was friendly, kind, jovial and considerate. He went to work but engaged with us while doing so.
The food. Yum! The family loved every bite. Our daughter is very selective and she loved every bite. We were all way too full for dessert but it awaits us after they all wake up 😀
Thank you Kendall! I have already started sharing your information with my friends and sorority sisters in Louisville and Ohio.

Kendall cooked a private three course meal for my bachelorette party and it was the highlight of the weekend, a gigantic success. The food was phenomenal, the service was impeccable. The little touches throughout the experience were so thoughtful and made our entire group feel like we were in a five star restaurant. I would be disappointed if I don't get to use Kendall and team again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All of our packages with prices are on our website. All of our prices are per person. (In-Home Personal Services are Per Person, plus the cost of groceries.)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we take an initial 15-minute Hospitality Consultation. Then our potential clients choose from our seasonal menu or create a personalized, tailored menu just for your event. Then if everything works out for both of us after we go over expectations and budgets and you feel like moving forward, my clients put down their deposit to save their event date. (We Recommend you pay our deposit as soon as possible if your date is available since our schedule fills fast.)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started my culinary journey in vocational culinary school with I was in the 11th & 12th grade at Prosser school of technology in New Albany IN. Then I had a brief stint at Sullivan University in Louisville Kentucky, I continued working my way up the latter, Via the school of hard knocks by working in some of the best kitchens in the Louisville Market.
