(I get kinda squirrely when I get in these kinds of situations and need his calming presence.) Most techs want to physically take over the keyboard but not Jeff. He took the extra time it takes to verbally guide me through all the choices and clicks.In short, Jeff sorted out the problem with me doing the hands-on part.
