FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Discount for all first responders, military, and senior citizens. I also pass my discount on materials to all customers
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First schedule an appointment convienant for them to discuss their needs, budget, and get visual/specs for the scope of work they are requesting to be completed and possibly suggesting alternate ways to save them money depending on each particular situation. After that I enter it into my estimate and invoice application to determine the cost of project minus any discounts and email it to them if it is a large project, but mostly done onsight to ensure I don't make any errors in the entry of specs, etc. Upon completing the estimate and we come to terms, outside jobs that can be completed in a short amount of time, we will schedule the scope of work to start and give an expected end date to scope of work. The customer is then giving the option to make their initial investment on the estimate sent to their email with a credit card or e-check option or provide me with the same. Note the initial investment will vary per the scope of work, length of time and material cost, thus the minimum investment will be 30 percent, but in no case larger than 50 percent. Financing the whole project is another option we offer to customer which most will qualify if that is the route they choose. The project then will start and work will be performed. Pre, action and final pictures will also be taking for protection of the customer and the company. Upon completion, I will walk the project with customer and determine if the work met their expectations and if not a "punchlist" will be created and completed timely then another walk, and another if need be until customer is 100 percent satisfied with the scope of work. Thereupon, whatever the payment agreement was agreed to at the beginning will be finalized. I then will go over workmanship warranty, product warranties per manufacture and then ask them for referrals and a review. i usually will follow up with customer 1 to 2 wks after completion to ensure they are still satisfied and to further my rapport with them. im not here to earn your business this one time, but everytime you have an issue you need corrected at your home. Just like you have a special doctor you use Im there to earn that spot of special handyman you call everytime.
