Tracye arrived on time and instantly was happy to see my golden retriever. She is very patient, trustworthy and friendly and I would definitely have her sit for my dog next time I'm out of town. Pleasant and courteous and a dog lover like me! Thanks Tracye!

Michelle took very good care of my 3 dogs while I was on a 7 day cruise. She was very professional and had documents created just in case she needed to take my dogs to the vet. She treated my pets like her very own and gave them lots of love while we were gone. I definitely recommend her to anyone who has one or multiple pets! She did an awesome job and house sat for me also!

I am a Professional Pet Sitter since 2008 . I insure every pet in my care is loved and cared for. I take care of the pet when the owner can't.

I will care for not only for your house and plants but for any and all of your animals too, even those with special needs. If the location is more than 5 miles, it is not feasible to make the trip more than once a day, so if special needs are required, a place to sleep, expenses to cover bought food wherever the location is, and a Wi-Fi access point of some kind to work on school work are appreciated.

I can walk and sit with your pets. My care makes your pets feel safe, protected, and comfortable. I have always been an animal lover.

I offer in-home pet sitting to allow your pet to remain comfortable at home while you travel. With two to three visits a day, each visit includes feeding and medicating, cleaning when necessary, play/cuddle time, over 30 minutes of walk, and extra services like mail and newspaper pickup. I also offer 30-minute and hour-long walk with special rates for repeat customers!

The purpose of Mac Pets is providing pet walking and pet sitting services. Pet sitting is to limit the stress to the pet while the owners are away for the weekend or a long vacation. Pets seem to do better when they are in their own home with their own bed and blanket, their own toys and their own buds (other pets). Mac Pets provide this luxury by making daily visits to care for the pets. The following is a list of common walking and pet sitting duties during regular visits: Potty break for dogs (can consist of a walk) Feed/treats Refill water dishes Play time Snuggle time Petting time Clean any messes/litter box/cages Administer medications

The following services are available: * house-sitting * housekeeping * pet sitting * cleaning

I am a part-time pet sitter. I am reliable. I will travel to your home. I am available weekends and after 5 P.M. from Monday to Friday.

We love animals and take great care of them. We also feed them and provide great servíces regarding them. We would love to help you.

When time is not on your side, I can help. A personal assistant is at your service. Whether it is pet sitting, help with parties or whatever, call me to discuss what you need. If you need a resume or references, I will provide.

I am a dependable person who cleans houses, and does in-home pet sitting for dogs, cats, and all other animals. Why board them at your veterinarian when they spend the entire time kenneled and anxious? I am the one to call! I have references for both house cleaning and pet sitting, and it would be a pleasure for me to offer my services. Thank you in advance. Robyn

We give the highest quality of care and love to your pet. Most pets adjust better to their owner's absence, and experience less anxiety and stress, when they can remain in their home environment. Professional pet sitters make this possible by visiting your home while you are away to maintain your pets' daily routine. In addition to meals, exercise, playtime and cleaning litter boxes or cages, we can also administer medications and perform other pet-care duties. We also provide vital home-care services while you are away, including mail and newspaper pick up, watering plants, placing trash outside for pickup, and alternating lights and blinds to make your house look lived in. Spoiled to "DA" Bone is also a pet concierge service whereas we can bring your family member to the vet or go to the pet store & get dog food and more toys. A professional pet sitter provides peace of mind for everyone.

I am an experienced vet tech. I will ensure that all of your pets' needs are met in your absence. I also have experience in caring for pets with special needs.

I will walk, feed, and love your pets when you can't! I can also take in mail and keep your house in order. I can use my personal vehicle to transport animals to park or bring them to appointments.

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much does it cost to hire a house sitter?

House-sitting can be a lifesaver when you’re leaving town for any length of time. Whether you work remotely, you’re taking a much-needed vacation, or you just want to road-trip for a few days, it’s wise to have a pro keep an eye on your house and pets while you’re gone. Your home is more likely to stay safe and you won’t have to wrangle the kitty into a kennel to travel with you. The national average pet-sitting price ranges between $20 and $30. Pet-sitting and house-sitting costs will vary based on where you live in the country and regional labor rates. Another factor in cost is how long you want the house-sitter to stay. Some people prefer to have the house-sitter stay the night at their house, perhaps to care for an elderly pet or simply to keep a watchful eye on the home at all times. Overnight stays will cost more, ranging anywhere from $50 to $100, depending on services provided. For day visits, house-sitting and pet-sitting prices will increase incrementally the longer the visit and the more service you want performed. For example, a quick 10-minute visit to feed and walk the pet and bring in the mail could be $12.50, a 25-minute visit could be $18, a 40-minute visit $25, and a 50-minute visit $32. How much should you pay for a pet sitter?

Pet sitting provides your precious pet with in-home care. A pet-sitter can make a brief visit during the day to provide snacks, playtime or affection, or stay at your house for one or more nights to tend to your pet. Prices for pet-sitting will vary based on length of the visit. Nationally, pet sitting prices range from $20 to $30, although prices run higher for your sitter to stay the night. Prices will also be affected by where you live in the country. Here are some examples of average pet-sitting prices based on length of time and region:

  • 30-minute visit: $17 in a small Texas town.
  • 30-minute visit: $25 in Southern California.
    • 45-minute visit: $28.
    • 60-minute visit: $32.
  • Overnight stay (10 hours): $50 in Texas.
  • Overnight stay (10 hours): $85 in Southern California.
    • 12 hours: $100.
    • 24 hours: $200. This is a good option for a sick, elderly or brand-new pet that needs constant supervision.
