Honestly, we weren’t planning anything fancy... just wanted a nice dinner at home for my partner’s promotion. But Flora & Fauna made it feel like a special occasion without it being stiff or over the top. Chef Hank was great—he even adjusted one dish on the spot for my friend who forgot to mention an allergy. Everything was super flavorful, and the pacing felt natural, not rushed or too slow. It was just… really, really lovely.

I’ve never hosted a dinner where I got to actually enjoy myself—until now. Everything was somehow effortless. The food came out at just the right pace, our glasses were always full, and the kitchen magically stayed clean. I still don’t know how they pulled that off. Also, the dessert (some kind of citrus olive oil cake?) is something I’m going to dream about for a while. Honestly felt more like being a guest in my own home, which is the highest compliment I can give.

We booked Flora & Fauna for a private birthday dinner for 10 people, and it was worth every penny. The food was honestly incredible, also, super seasonal. They were super easy to work with leading up to the event, and on the day everything went smoothly. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. Everyone left full, happy, and talking about the dessert for days. Total win.
