Introduction: I have a very easy-going, but efficient attitude towards teaching. I want everyone to be happy about what is happening but I will push one to their full potential and don't mind giving my honest opinion.
I love knowing that what my students are learning is something that will: a) open several windows of opportunity to them, b) stay with them forever. Music isn't something that is easily forgotten. Once one learns the basics about a particular instrument, that knowledge is not likely to escape their minds. Or c) that they will always have an escape. As a kid, music was an escape for me to easily forget about my troubles. Anything bad happening, I went to my music.
